I would have loved my Fem/ Warden to be able to tell Anora exactly what she could do to get my support at the landsmeet .

Morrigan. I don't really care much about romance options in DA2, and not because they aren't Morrigan. I just get tired of how Bioware writes them. You just say a few nice things to the LI and then just before the final battle you have sex, then their dialogue ends and the character stops developing. And if you don't romance them they get almost no development at all, because there's the inevitable break point where they come onto you, you turn them down or insult them in some way, and then they never want to talk to you again.
I'd rather Bioware just leave romance subplots out of their games, I think they detract from the experience more than they add.

Not a lot of Zevran love out there.
In fact, I should just give in and admit I'm going to fall for whatever LI David Gaider writes. It's inevitable. <_<

I did like Bastila. I teased her every chance I got. Saying she looked like a Kinrath pup and cute when embarressed. I loved both romances in KOTOR.

Sigh...Bastila
Bastila and Morrigan by far my favorite Bioware romances - it must be the accent

Tamlen. What? There were no dark hair/dark eyes/difficult personality characters, and fiesty childhood friends come right after that in my list of characters I like in a romance. Sure, it was short and doomed, but that just meant I never had to confront his personality flaws and hey, I got to be the one with a dead boyfriend!
I'm not especially excited about romancing anyone in particular in DA2 because we don't know what dudes are going to be available and I usually prefer dudes.

NO. For me, the romances add a great deal of realism for me to the games and make me want to play them more often and buy the next game.
I like games like Fall Out or Oblivion but I still replay KOTOR, JE, ME1 more often, just because they have a whole story including love, betrayal and satisfying endings and that makes their games special.
Fighting with Kaidan or Alistair is much more satisfying then fighting next to Boone or Veronica for me, because of the way BioWare incorporates the romances in their games.
edit - I would love to have them add to the romance - as you suggested, but I don't want them to ever remove them. I'd like the dialog spaced out a bit better. KOTOR (yes, that again, was great at the pacing. I haven't played it since last year, but I remember Carth/Bastila having things to say tothrough the whole game. Not every time I clicked on them, but spaced out throughout the game at a reasonable span and way more often than their most recent games.

For mage it was Cullen. After them was Zevran for all my elven characters ( females) and Leliana for my human male. DA2? Well, no one right now. For sure as a male Hawke will not romance with Aveline ( too similar to Jaheira in my mind) and Isabele, also Fenris is not interesting for me as an LI .

I also downloaded the Ser Gilmore mod. I loved Alistair, I hated all of the ending choices. So Ser Gilmore is now my romance option.

Good thing about Bastila was that she was involved in the plot. Almost as important as Revan. I mean she saved him, then he saves her. Perfect love story imo. Well with exception that Revan left her after one year without even telling her why ... that was kinda downer.
