Hello everyone,

I've just recently purchased NWN2 and 2 of the expansions. I'm a big fan of Bioware games, especially Baldur's Gate. So anyway, just wanted to drop by and check out the community for NWN2 and see what kind of people I'll be gaming with. I'm highly interested in the modding aspect of the game and intend to put it to good use.

If anyone wants to put together a game, mail me and we can work out the details.

LOL. Ok so the below message was in reference to your original post which asked if you should buy it on Steam or from Ebay. Which one did you choose?

And welcome to the community.

Don't do Ebay.

Someone else already has your CD key (the person you buy it from). That means that if they use it to play online, you cannot. People who steal the game cannot play it online because they do not have their own unique CD key. So they can only play offline. You could easily be in the same position.

I think you can buy disks on Amazon. If not, the Steam deal is quite cheap I hear.

haha, I almost got caught in that loop too :)
here's what I wrote:

hi Banshe
( Fjorgier, don't go editing your posts so drastically, man - it was a good post )

anyway, I bought OC + MotB in a second-hand shop, didn't even think about the CD-key potential problem - but I was lucky and able to create an online account (and play) without problems. My belief is that people are pretty good about those sorts of things. But it's a risk

2nding B's welcome. There's a DM around here somewhere, and an Owl pops up too

This is a terrible community~! We're always helping each other out. We hardly ever have any fights and when we do, it usually takes care of itself. We have a couple of moderators and they hardly ever get upset and rarely have to lock threads for bickering or inappropriate behavior.

I mean, really. There's no friction, conflict or out and out animosity. What kind of place is this, anyway? Does everyone get together and sing Kumbaya for crying out loud? Group hug~!

In short, we are a Community. I think you're going to like what you find here, but if you're looking for soap opera, then this is pretty much the last place to look.

Welcome to the Forums and the Community! We know you made a great purchase and you will too, resistance is futile. :P

And when you get to modding and using the toolset, be sure to visit the Toolset Forums -- A LOT! The rest of us do.

very warmest regards (it's cold outside),

Welcome to the community!

Hope you really enjoy your stay, and if you get to play with the toolset, you're going to get so much support from the forums its unreal. Also, to get you started - look for a tutorial called "Don't Panic" or similar - I can only speak for myself, but for me it was a massive help in explaining what you're actually supposed to do!

Hiya!

I have just put up a comprehensive guide for NWN2 which outlines all it's benefits and features. You can read it here:

I hope your English is better than my whatever language that is (Is that Portuguese?)  It looks to me to be something of a "What's your policy on --" and the rest might as well be a foreign language for what I get out of it.

Our policy here is to be welcoming, helpful and friendly, no matter your native or mother tongue.  No spamming, no bumping threads just to bump them, no fighting, horseback riding, climbing walls or flying.  And definitely no Timestopping.

We also prefer to speak English, but if you can't manage that, then please go ahead and type in your native language.  I am sure someone else can translate for us/you along the way.

Best regards and welcome! Ciao, Arrivaderci, Hasta lluego, Sehen sie Spater, aloha, sayonara and see you later, dude,

It's Polish, if Google's right (definitely not Portuguese). I think Haplose is Polish...

Yeah, that's right. Well remembered, Arkalezth :)

He was only asking whether any Polish people frequent these forums.

Hejka!

[I wrote hello and that while you could meet Poles like me here, as it's an exceptional game with the very creative community making modules, modifications and online worlds, it was customary to write in English on these international fora.]
