Did Flemith have a makeover? I find this humorous.

There are plenty of charcters that are old that people like. why does every charcter in the game have to look like a 20 yr old with a perfect body? Ill tell you why. To help stimulate the happy time in the pants of some teenage  kid who hates the world and eveyrhitng around him. Its a gimmik, a cheap gimmik

Flemeth's face hasn't changed at all,  and if you look at her model in Origins,  GASP she has the same build as every other female in the game.  So,  please...  it can't be that can it?  She looked like a generic npc in the original game,  they gave her some greying hair,  some wrinkles and slapped on a green robe.  That doesn't really scream important character does it?  It worked in Origins because she was pretty much a background character or atleast pretending to be,  but now as she is developing and moving into the foreground she needs to "pop" and catch the eye.

I know change can be scary...  but,  it'll be okay I promise.

"Pop" is a BS term. it means absolutly nothing.  Im all for change I just dont like my change to be so severe without  any real reason why it happens in the story. I like my change to be subtle, its a bettter way to show progression. For example if gandalf fell into darkness and just appered with a white robe on and said we are going to save middle earth without any real reason why he came back you would feel a little cheated and maybe a bit annoyed but in LOTRO gandalf tells you what happened to him and he now looks the way he does.

To me, it was the most unhuman part about them, that they were not just a mutated human, but a corruption or whatever you want to name it. Even with the skin textures I can´t say the same of the DA2 DS.

She turns up as a dragon. A 40 foot flaming reptile. She performs a surgical airstrike on a group of gnarly looking monsters, lands, roars for a bit and then transforms before the very eyes of the hero and party.

Which part of this suggests her appearance should be subtle?

the dev said that Flemeth could change her appareance, if I remember in DAO Morrigan said that she could change her aspect to be more "appealing" to men.....so why wouldn't she change her look to a more powerful one?

because maybe flemith is a powerful entity toying and interfering with the way of the world. If you are a powerful being you dont nessiasarily have to show how powerful you are unless you are threatened or you need to use your power to save someone that is vital your existance. Oh looks those are the two  things you just described.

If you want a game to be unique why do you want flemeth to be like gandalf?  That's not unique at all...and I'm sorry you don't like the word.  Then again,  I think "Pop" is pretty zazzy myself so I will continue to use it when it is appropriate.

Then I completely agree with you;), infact she seems to be the great "puppeteer" of Dragon Age, she used the Warden for her own purpose (defeating the Blight with the DR) and she's gonna use Hawke in some mode......I wonder what is her objective...

you are talking about flemith the one who is hiding in the swamp stealing  females babies in the night to prolong her life?? wouldnt there be a reason why she in hiding in the swamp as an old lady , maybe she is hiding from something much more powerful then her. To change into anything more powerful would just bring more attention to yourself. making yourself seem weak and frail is a good way to manipulate people. They feel bad for you because you  are so seemingly helpless they are more liekly to help you.

and it's esplicitally said by Morrigan in a dialogue, when she respond to the question "Is really Flemeth your mother?", so I don't see why Cobrawars persists so much about her change of looking<_<

Now you are just making assumptions,  we've been told a lot about how awesome flemeth is...  but we haven't been told of anything that would frighten her.  So,  suggesting she is hiding doesn't really work... particularly if she is willing to show herself in all her dragony glory.

Hmm... too many contradictions and uncertainties. At least her human shapeshifting is now officially valid.

Will things be clear in DA2. Probably not. That's not a bad thing though. It's exciting to know that you're plunging headlong into a plot run by a crazy, extremely powerful, nutty old bat .

No seriously. I enjoy the air of mystery surrounding her.

It's koolaid, and attributing fan's of Dragon Age too a cult is silly. Also, perhaps she does like a swamp? Some people do prefer isolation, you are also working under the assumption that a person like Flemeth has the same wants and desires a normal person does.

And I do think flemeth is awesome, but, I thought so in the first game as well.

Also my favorite flavor was always blue by the way.

she WANT to be seen by the Wardens as a old, mad lady. She WANT to be seen as a powerful witch by Hawke. In DAO imho she doesn't seem as a witch. In DA2 imho she seems a witch, and imho I don't think she's a beautiful young lady. To me she seems powerful, but still old.

So yeah, you don't like the changes.

You say that in practically every topic I see. Can we move on now? Or do you seriously have nothing better to do?
