Did Flemith have a makeover? I find this humorous.

Flemeth: I often changed the old character because she was frumpy. Now, perhaps it suited her purpose at the time, in her mind I mean, but for me, I wanted her to be older but slightly more magically preserved. An air of elder with a slight illusion of perpetual youthful energy. I like the new style for her though, a lot! Seems more fitting somehow in her dropping some of the "old bag lady saved yourlife and lives in the swamp" routine she had going as now ( as old participants of the original game) we are sort of on to her and know what she is capable of.... at least marginally better than before.
Part of me laughs at the irony: In a game where most of us have umpteen characters, essentially many versions of US playing, we have trouble accepting two looks from a shape shifting witch of great skill and technique. lol This amuses me.

You do realise, DA is not real life and can be changed upon the developers every whim no matter what you think, correct?Cobrawar wrote...

You are attributing human thought process to a person who can turn into a dragon, who destroys daughter's souls to jump into their bodies, and may very well be unkillable. I think once you reach that point your mind may function a bit differently then it used to.
If she was even human in the first place, which Morrigan states she is not entirely in Witch Hunt.

This. Even if Bioware completely overhaul the game, even if they made darkspwan look like beautiful angel, and elves like demons with pointy ears, I can't change it. The only thing I can do is don' buying the game, but tht's all. Bioware could do whathevere they want with their games

As I said, artists on comics can change from page to page and can alter the entire visual style of the issue in the process.Cobrawar wrote...
you cant really compare comics to dragon age because, comics are usually reflective of the generation reading it. Batman was created in 1939 that a huge amount of time, of course changes will be made, because society has changed.
What that has to do with batman or societal change I have no idea... I was simply stating that having spent 20 years watching art styles change rapidly, I am accustomed to art changing and don't see what the big deal is. I was also asking if others who feel the same do so for the same reason.
Xewaka wrote...
However, this is not the work of a single artist, but a team of them. Therefore, some more consistency is expected, as everything has to fit a certain mold to keep artistic integrity in the project. So an artist swap doesn't cause as much change in a videogame as in a comic book, as the art direction still has to fit with all the other artists.
-snippitysnip-
You might notice that when you actually have to "tear" something rather than simply cut it with a knife into a mouth-filling piece, the teeth you actually use for that tearing are the canines. You know, the fang-shaped ones?
Human mouth is funny that way, it has teeth for cutting -useful with vegetable-, teeth for rending -useful with fibrous food such as meat, and teeth for chewing -useful to ease digestion. Omnivore diet requires versatility like that. However, a full carnivore diet requires more empashis on the canines, and less on the incisives, as it will be
tearing flesh and muscle more usually than cutting grass.
...and?
I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused. Are you trying to agree with me or debate with me?
Because, for starters, I don't see what the first bit before the snip has to do with anything. Between the fact that Comics are also the work of an artistic team, the fact that I (again) mentioned how they can change during a single issue, and how I said nothing about changing VG artists over the course of a single project.... I'm not really sure what your point is.
Secondly, I never asked which teeth rend flesh. I only stated that human teeth, such as those displayed on the new hurlocks, are capable of rending flesh. I know which ones do what. That changes nothing about what I said...

At the end of the day, in your opinion it's change for the sake of change. A lot of people, including the game developers disagree.
When you make your own game, you can make all the changes you like to it, or none if you prefer.

well, i believe that if the DA2 doesn't sold well (which I don't think), or if, AFTER the game is released, a considerable part of the gamers express their negative opinion about some features, Bioware will make something different in the next game
