Yeah I've been treating my very first playthrough as my canon.  It's also my nieve play through, I haven't preplanned anything, I didn't look at any guides or spoilers, I just rolled with it.

Paragade Femshep earhborn survivor soldier. I was going to originally import my very first playthrough with her where some people died, mostly because I had no idea there was a way to keep them alive - plus I switched classes to sentinel in ME2...which played havoc with any RP I attempted to do with her O_O, but I'm replaying her, saving everyone that can be kept alive (had to let Balak go to save the scientists), through paragon decisions mostly and sticking to being a soldier throughout for continuity.

Saved the council and apointed Anderson, Wrex etc alive, Ash died on virmire (I'm sorry Ash) Kaidan LI - faithful, all survive suicide mission, kept genophage research and Kasumi's graybox, sent Cerberus data to alliance, command, rallied the crowd for Tali (who got Geth research on ME1), destroyed collector base, reprogrammed Geth and was very nasty to TIM/took some sweet time warming up to Miranda and Jacob (sided with Jack, and sweet talked Miranda afterward, but secretly agree with Jack, just needed Miranda to stay focused). like Jacob more then Miranda as he seems to have genuine morals and principles.

once I've played through with this Shepard a few times, getting best possible outcome (read whatever version of happy ending they allow Shepard to have), I'll go down my list of other shepards. will probably go with Femshep colonist sole survivor vanguard who's also mostly paragon, romanced Kaidan in first, fell into Jacobs arms for comfort in second - partly because I want to see the reprecautions of not staying loyal to your first LI and partly because she turned out to be a much more interesting character to me then I originally planned. after that - anyone's guess.

(But my game keeps having to be restarted as it either freezes as decryption is rediculously slow and i keep gettiing elevator stuck - and i have 1.02)

Romance: None - possible Liara... homosexual preffered (None available) might have to settle for liara... bit lonely being saviour of the galaxy... and dying once is enough to make someone a bit unstable.
