I honestly think that everyone but our siblins and the DLC conpanion will be a romance

We all know that Bethany and Carver are off limits and the DLC companion probably will be as well since that's just extra content that won't be available to all players.

We all know that Isabela is the F/F romance option as well as being available to male players.

Now let's look at our other options

Anders: Obviously had fangirls back when Awakening came out, yet I can't see him being available to male players, particularly after his, "pretty girl" line.

Merrill: A LOT of guys wnated a female elf who was romancable. I'd be shocked if she wasn't an option since Velanna wasn't in Awakening.

Varric:  Given that he narrates, it wouldn't shock me if he was avalable as an LI but he's still the least likely amonst the male characters.

Fenris: Attracted and INSANE amount of squee before he was officially confirmed. Mush like Merrill, I'd be shocked if he wasn't an option.

Aveline: If one female LI had to be cut, I'd guess that it would be Aveline since she's clearly the least phyically attractive of the three.

As for M/M romances, I'm guessing that the option will either be Fenris or Varric but probably Fenris since I'm still not sure if Varric is an LI at all.

I find romance threads harmless. Mostly.

Just keep it in your pants, people. ;)

Not everyone thinks in-game romances are the be-all and end-all of BioWare games, and not everyone believes that this forum constitutes the totality of the "hype-generating" for Dragon Age II. That's all I'm saying besides "please relax" and it's okay to disagree with Chris, just don't freak out about it.

so let me get this straight....you and/or Bioware at large do not see anythinng wrong with this kind of comment made to the public by someone in your own company who is supposed to work in a field similar to PR/CR?

Assuming you all can survive the deadly blow to your egos, of course not. You're not "the public" like some unaware customer who just wandered in here off the street. You're those punk kids who hang out every afternoon in the 7-11 reading all the magazines like you own the place.

If someone tells you to keep it to a dull roar every once in a while, I imagine you'll deal. Posted Image

again.......if I had said something along those lines about my company's product and/or about my company's clients to or infront of our clients I'd either been written up or given a final. Ridiculous to some perhaps but true.

And I'd say asking those clients to keep it down to a dull roar so as not to scare away all the other clients is not so terrible, and in fact is exactly what you'd find in any business where said clients occasionally feel the need to act like orangutans.

Harmless orangutans in search of nothing more than a satisfying romance plot, sure, but scary to regular folk nevertheless. ;)

Short of a client pulling a knife on someone all we are allowed to do is nod and smile no matter how moronic, repetitive, dull or simian they seem to us.

Sorry about your life, I guess. :)
