You will need to do much better than that.

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/3036850

Read the stickies here, do the research in the forum's archives, and if you still are in the dark, then fill in everything that goes in a complete problem report.

Still more info is needed. Gorath has posted the links you need to check out to give us what we need to help you. We canthelp you if you arent willnig to help yourself.

This is what PC gaming is all about, knowing what your rig consists of. If thats too much like hard work, I recommend an Xbox.

At a rough guess, I'm willing to bet you have downloaded and installed the game, and immediately jumped in, to both the game and these forums, without bothering to check if there were any patches available.

At the top of the forum screen, hover your mouse cursor over "Game", then move it to "Mass Effect 2", and you will see a link called "Game Patches". Click on that, downlaod and install the 1.02 patch.

The first stickied post on these forums informs you that there is a patch available.

The second is called "Read First", which you obviously havent read.

It simply isn't that difficult to use Windows' own tools, or those of the game itself, to obtain the names of all of the basic components that Mass Effect needs in order to run correctly.  There are sites, most of which are not very good, and one of which is terrible, that purport to test your machine to tell you if it will work.  Those are for the terminally inept, technophobic, and massively lazy people.

IMO, only the one that Microsoft has is accurate, and it is limited to only the games that Microsoft publishes.  Next best is the You Gamers' utility:
