Description: after doing everything in the bandit camp saving all the prisoners and the prisoners leave i can not travel to any location other then the swamp ruins and the inn. i cant go back to the fort or any other place i have all the quests still, also i got the game on steam and it is suppos to be uptodate at all times the last patch note i have is v123 any help would be appriciated

i don't have a solution,
but it sounds like you're getting the worldmap to open .. so my surmise is, that a conversation or cutscene is not firing properly (at the conclusion of the Bandit Camp).

you could try running
rs 12tr_escape
at the console prompt in DebugMode
or maybe
rs ka_worldmap_open("Highcliff","")
as a different way to open the worldmap

(tip : if anyone wants to check this out in the Toolset further, the module is "1200_Highcliff" - i've got some SaveGames to rescue off a faulty HDrive)

ps. in almost all cases you can save your savegame, but it's a lot of effort ..

nope nether worked i mean i did it right but the one didn't do anything and the second only opened the world map some how i need to unlock the fort bandit camp and graveyard

update i found some one with the same problem and he said he fixed, here is the postHi, I have a little problem with my current NWN2 run.
I realized too
late that the transformed Druid at the docks is the one, who should add
the Sky Mirror location to the world map (thought that was Elanee
through dialogue).
Well, he did not.
(No Idea why... same thing happened with the graveyard before, but with less dire consequences, only 10 minutes lost or so)
 I
am already past owl well, and though I have a save at the beginning of
Neverwinter, I have zero motivation to replay all those hours. But even
more I hate it to miss quests, especially for companions.
Too make it short:
Can
anyone give me a script to spawn that druid (worked once with that boy
Wolf too) or is there a code that adds locations to the worldmap? Or a
teleport cheat?

 I
resolved it myself. I found the Modulename with help of the toolset and
teleported my party there, with help of the dungeon master. And
everything works flawlessly.

ya to bad i have no idea what he means about the dungeon master
update. i give up on this game i restarted 4 times new charactors and all of the games where bugged in diffrent ways one my person was stuck in the archery contest i hit the practice target, and the npc wouldnt let me do the competition. the other one i couldnt see my character, next the girl wouldnt stay dead when the orc mage killed her and i could move on. i just dont know what to do, now i know why it was only 10 dollars

I've played through NWN 2 multiple times, both as single player and as co-op (multiplayer) from the beginning (NWN 2) through the end of MoTB (1st expansion) and have never com across this issue myself.

Is your game patched to the latest update? If you aren't patched, it is likely you will end up with bugs here and there.

When you first installed the game, did you let it update automatically as the installation completed? If you did, you may want to try re-installing and following the below sets of instructions in the process as there is a step required for digital downloads that the Obsidian mentioned at one point:

 Post 4: Installing NWN 2
Please see the Installing NWN 2 topic for installing NWN 2 and subsequent expansion packs.

Post 5: On Removing NWN 2
Please see On Removing NWN 2 for removing NWN 2.

Also, make sure your drivers are up to date for your graphics card, DriectX 9.0c, and .NET Frameworks, as well as making sure you have at least 15GB of free disk space available, after you have dully installed and updated the game.

he's gonna ask ya where you want to go, and it looks like you'll need to research a module name (try "1200_Highcliff") or an object tag before talking to him. But if yer game's as buggy as it sounds like .. Selene's got good re-install advice for ya

well i uninstalled the game removed everything turn off firewall and restarted comp in opposite order and am reinstalling the game, however i cant choose to download the updates steam does it auto, so should i reinstall the patches? and also steam is updating my dirictx and net framework for the game, but i doubled checked and they where up to date. well ill tell you what happens tomorrow after reinstall also i did a disk defrag to see if it would help



and thanks for helping me btw kevl and selene i do appreciate it. i just got discouraged

update time i think my save game is toast the dm cant find any locations i tried all the module numbers and names and he just sends me to a pig in the bandit camp lol. am try a new game deleting all the others
