The Warden can start the romance at any point in the game, up to just before the Archdemon (though you will not be able to get his confession of feelings if you wait until this point).  The only thing that determines whether the massage is offered is that the warden is at camp, and Zevran is at 71+ adore.

As long as you don't hit the famous bug (public kiss after Taliesen means it doesn't upgrade in an unmodded game), Zevran will upgrade to love at 91+.  Getting his confession of feelings does not happen automatically, however.  And getting his proposal is tied an action the warden can do in an earlier in-love conversation with him.

Only one thing:what action triggers the proposal?
I thought you only had to reject the earring the first time and choose a certain route in the final love dialogue.

No, you're the one who didn't want spoilers. -- *grin* I don't mind spoilers at all!  You're right; all you have to do is reject the earring (it doesn't matter how unless using the Zevran wedding mod).  And, oh yeh, there's a bug in the vanilla game where if you reject the earring, you won't get the proposal.  It's if you tell him, "I do, and I feel the same."

You said it before, but there are too many posts to find the info: where is the dialogue in which Zevran asks for a kiss and you can either slap him or tell him that he could be lucky?

I believe it's when you first ask him to tell you of his adventures -- when he asks if he's an old man and if he should shake his fists and nearby children.  If you tell him he doesn't have to talk.  Females can ask him if he wants a slap in the face, males can ask him if he wants a punch in the mouth.

IIRC you don't actually *give* him either of those things. Or a kiss, if you promise him one (much to the disappointment of some, I'm sure...)

This gameplay, even though I programmed it, is sort of slipping through my hands..

Firstly, I can't seem to raise the approval of Alistair enough to have him asking the PC to the tent, conversations don't raise it up much and the only gift I've not given him is Ducan's shield..And I need only 2-3 points of approval -.- But that's not about the thread.



My PC is starting to undestand that Zevran is not much of the "bad guy" she thought, the group went to the tower and she saw his nightmare, although later he talked about nymphs. He already told her he "murdered" his mum and told the PC she's s beautiful. Now she's curious to find out what's the real issue about him

Yes, provided you haven't used it and the romance isn't cut off.  Alistair has one as well (the guys are easier to romance).  his is something like, "Has anyone ever told you how handsome you are?"

I have a very hight rating now with Zev. I think it's about 90 it might be more. He is saying "si amora" as well. Alistair is still in love although I told him not to make me chose, but in the next convo he was still like "do you feel for me?". I hope I haven't broken Zev though as I asked him to the tent and got the pirate dialogue but no +1.



I was rping that my CER is conflicted about Alistair. She has feelings for him, but finding it hard to commit to anything with him. They have kissed and she got the rose, but no sex. She has slept with Zev after the massage.



I could just break it off completely with Alistair, but I was hoping for some jealousy dialogue between him and Zev.

If Zevran says Si Amora, you're at 100 approval.  That's why you didn't get +1 approval for tent time.  You will get the jealousy talk once Alistair's approval gets high enough.  the rose talk comes at 51+ care.  

Edit: You can kiss Alistair at 51+ care, but he initiates a kiss at 71+ adore.  He propositions the warden at 91+ love if they haven't been to the tent yet.

If you can go to the tent with Zevran, the romance is active.

During the neutral-to-warm-conversation she told him "I could always use a friend", although later when he told the PC she was beautiful and asked if he shouldn't have said it she answered that it wasn't a problem. I saw the line about the staring, also, but I didn't check later if that was still here. Right now I finished Orzammar's and the Circle's quest, and I have an active romance with Alistair (kisses only for now, 71+, but as I said I need something like 5 approval points to turn it to tent-time).

The Zevran romance shouldn't be neither cut off or active.



BTW, is the massage automatically offered? Or you have to initiate a conversation?

If that line is still there, the romance is neither active nor cut off.

Zevran offers the romance at 71+ adore when you click on him at camp.  You do have to click on him.

Well, if I'll accidentaly have the romance off, my PC will be happy just with having Ali sacrifice himself, in order to punish him for the Landsmeet dumping

You have to tell him directly you're not interested.  The way you know that it's cut off is you're not getting romance starter lines any more.  The easiest one to spot is the "Do you stare at everyone like that."  If it's not showing, the romance is either active or cut off.

Your English is better than most native speakers', and certainly FAR better than my Italian!  Telling him you can always use a friend doesn't mean the romance is cut off; as long as the romance wasn't switched on (including in that conversation), there's nothing to fear there.

Thanks for your help Ejoslin and yep I've read your faq I was just a little worried, beacuse 1 it's hard for me to tell exactly what their numbers are. Is 100 not the top end heart? because although Zev is quite close it's not entirely there like Dog is.



I just had to make sure I am doing this right for the rp as I didn't want to have to go back.



Alistair has kissed the Warden and when I clicked on him last night I had the option to kiss him again. I thought the whole "don't make me chose" dialogue would end the romance because he actually says "I can't do this". I didn't want to break it off until Zev asks if she and Alistair have anything going. I'm probably making it too complicated. LOL I've only ever straigh romanced Alistair or straight romanced Zev with a little flirt to both in the begining I've never tried to play them off eachother quite like this.



The ultimate goal is for her to chose Zev and have him "propose"

I will happily admit to anyone who asks me about Dragon Age that I'm gay for Zevran! My very first play through I was playing my dwarf commoner as a evil selfish scumbag that slept with every lady he could get on her back, and someone who killed innocents with a smile on his face if it meant a couple extra gold in his coin bag. Then I unlocked Zevran and everything changed for me. I can't explain it any other way, but to say that it was love at first sight. It wasn't long before he charmed the pants right off me, and we were naked in our tents exploring the differences between elf and dwarf anatomy. Hint: We found places to make everything work rather well.

I still killed children and innocents indiscriminately if the gold was good, but I became a one man dwarf after Zevran. Not counting the foursome I had with that sailor lady, Zevran and Liliana in the cat house, but everyone was consenting in that situation. And that time with the Nugg, a hammer, a broom and the rope doesn't count.

I figured our why I wasn't getting the ultimatium from Zevran. I don't think my love was high enough with Alistair, he hadn't asked anyone about wooing. I got a boost from him and then he starting asking about wooing. I also just got tskd from Leliana warning me not to lead Alistair on.

Anyway, I read somewhere in the forum that if you trigger the jealousy dualogue, break up with Alistair then restart the romance with him later, you can woo them both with no other jealousy problems. But I'm not sure, I never really cared about this so you should ask or check better into the forum to be sure.

I think it's the other way around, you break up with Zevran then speak to Alistair and you can restart Zevran romance if you have an opening line left.
