May be like you say.

I supposed it was first Alistair then Zevran because someone said that if you break up with Zevran the romance is supposed to stay broken, as long as you don't have a starting line, which may be present or not in the conversations (f.e,, if you started the romance with the line "do you stare at everyone like that" it's possible you can't restart it). One time I accidentaly broke the romance; I reloaded and chose the right answer then, so I don't know if I had another starting line, but I read that it's easier to restart the romance if he's already in love with you.

About Alistair, I speak from personal experience. My first playrthough I was romancing Zevran exclusively, but I must have accidentaly started Alistair romance 'cause one day out of the blue he gave me the rose, which I answered I wasn't interested. Then, he asked me to his tent, and I said no. Again, he asked me about Zevran and asked if I had feeling for him too! And even after I chose Zevran (he made me choose), I still had another romance starting line with Alistair (at least that line looked like one, it was something like "I like it it's you who tell me I'm beaufiful".



But I'm not the expert here..I'm just saying that Alistair seems to give many more opportunities to restart his romance.

Ahh, interesting. Like I said before I thought telling him not to make me chose would end the romance, but it obviously didn't. LOL he just won't give up. Although I've kissed him a few times and got more approval for some dialogue he still hasn't asked me to the tent.



I somehow ended up in a love square because Lelianna suddenly asked me about Zevran, saying she thought there was something between us. I was all like how did that happen? LOL

I guess my PC was asked to the tent 'cause first I maxed his approval, then I accidentaly started the romance..so at max approval he gives the rose and asks the PC to the tent. I don't know if it always happens like this, but yes in my case he didn't give up after I told him I chose Zevran (yes, there was another romance line then but here, you can or not follow that line, and consequently continue/restart the romance or not..it's not a conversation initiated by him, like the one about Zevran and the PC).



But this doesn't mean that the way to have them both at love without jealousy, is not breaking up with Zevran first. I really don't know, I never broke up with him without reloading right after it so I don't know if there are others romance starting line.



About Leliana, uhm, could have happened what happened to me with Alistair: you started the romance when she was at enough high approval, and now that someone else you're romancing is at high approval too, she's jealous. I suggest just break up with her, and if you're curious about what you could have done to start the romance, you could try to search Leliana/Dialogues on dragonage.wikia, here the romance starting lines are underlined.

As far as I know I was just nice to her, but I think a lot fher lines start the romance whether you mean to or not. I did tell her she was wrong about us so hopefully that's ended that. She's never been jealous to me before. Too bad you can't romance Morigan too as a female, would be funny to have everyone in love with the warden at once.

Leliana has a bug in the vanilla game where after her personal quest, you pretty much are guaranteed to start her romance unless you know the lines NOT to pick. If you ask her if Marjolaine was special to her, in an unmodded game, the romance is on.



Leliana, believe it or not, only has two romance starters (the first one is different for males and for females). It's just that her romance is so buggy that it seems like there are more.

Ahh, thanks for that ejoslin. I had just done her personal quest recently and then had a couple of the hardening dialogues with her. First she told me not to lead Alistair on and then asked about Zev. So I guess I got the Marjolaine bug. Thankfully she's easier to let down it seems.



I just need to get Alistair high enough to trigger Zev's jealousy I hope.
