Question for developers, if possible. I was just wondering if the PC version of DA2 is designed to be more tactical and the console version to be more action oriented, or can I play tactical on my 360 as well, similar to Origins?

Depends on what you think constitutes tactical. You have tactics A.I. on consoles, you can give your allies commands, and you can pause the game on consoles. I would say yes. I think the console game feels more action-oriented than anything.

I've played Origins on both PC and console for example, and the differences are largely the same for DA2. In terms of what I'm actually doing from PC to console, it's mainly the same things. I use AoE spells, glyphs, heal, attack spells (I play a mage) all on the different versions. It just feels more action-oriented on the console because, due to the controller, I tend to feel more "in the moment" if that makes sense. And I'll admit, it's a little harder to pause, but they've improved that. Now all you have to do is tap the left trigger to pause as opposed to holding it down, thank god.

Cool, thanks for the info :) I always liked mixing it up and playing action in some battles and then using the left trigger to pause and play a bit more tactical. I played on PC as well and I know it's way more about the tactics but I actually used them on console as well. Good to hear it's actually improved on top of that. thanks again :)
