well, don't know if you're just trolling, but i assure you that I prefer one thousand times a noble soul and a cool guy inside the body of a turian instead of a human jerk... plus, Garrus is handsome too

I was just commenting (strongly) on your Shepard's taste in aliens. Do you play yourself in the game or do you roleplay?elfadelbosco wrote...

It's the mandibles, isn't it? You had nightmares of the Predator, and your fear translated into disgust which you project onto BadAss Garrus and all other turians.

Chill out, and let people play the game the way they want to. God forbid you call the cyber police on us.

I play myself using Shepard, I guess, like many others... I have no particular taste in aliens, but I have a great taste in intelligent, cool, noble, brave, open-minded people, whether they're aliens or not (you know, aliens are just people like us, with heroes and jerks). Garrus is a hero, many humans are jerks, so if I were in my Shep's clothes I'd romance a hero, who's hansome too (tall and muscled).
I can assure you that if I had the chance to choose between a blond tall handsome Prince Charming who reasons as you do, and Garrus, or Shrek, I'd choose one of the last two.

In response to the OP, yes it's been noted commented upon over and over and over. But really it the gait of Shepard (both genders) when they run, that needs work.

Hey, I never said you had to get my approval, but it would be nice.TripLight wrote...
So us female gamers can only romance Thane and Liara since there the most human-looking aliens on board? Because you find it repulsive? I thought this was a role-playing game and we could play our games and Sheps how we wanted to. I didn't know we all had to get your approval because you think it's icky.

Besides, for all I know, Tali could have madibles and I romanced her in ME2 after Ashley's little stunt on Horizon. Maybe it's better if they don't show her face. I have a good image of what I think she looks like under the helmet. I would hate for Bioware to ruin it and reveal that the Quarians are actually... female turians or something.
Oh, I believe you would choose one of the last two. Of course, that's being a little narrow minded, no? I just find the idea of... that, rather unsettling in my mind. I think Garrus is awesome, and if I played a female Shep, I would at least consider the idea even if I was constantly reminded of the results. Nevertheless, I won't argue with your personal taste in aliens and the like anymore. But, uhh... I just have to ask... what about the chafing? Even Mordin, a trained medical professional, warns that the experience could be "unpleasant".elfadelbosco wrote...

A lot of us are under the impression that turian plates are more akin to thick leather, someone in the Garrus thread also said calluses, so chafing is understandable. But I don't think the plates are as rough as to cause serious abrasions or lacerations, just chafing, like rug burn, which lotion helps with.
Ah I love that pic. Rule34 is great, just be careful of the furry fans who butcher Turian Anatomy.

Wouldn't that ruin the mood? I mean, that scene was already awkward enough without the thought of chafing.TripLight wrote...
LOL glad that was settled.

Well, I like to check things on my own, I listen to advices, but I prefer to judge by direct experience
Sorry for being rude, I'm very tired of racist trolls, I apologize

Well my Shep is willing to take a little bit if discomfort, she might die and she has come to care about Garrus more then being just "Friends with Benefits" and Garrus obviously feels the same. Watch the rejection video and tell me thats not a man who just had his heartbroken.
By the time you head for the Omega 4 relay, it's turned into more then just "easing tension". It's two people coming together out of mutual friendship and respect, who are now falling in love despite the possibility of dying hours from then.
So chafing is gonna stop them? Hell Naw!

That's a good case, but I must protest that Garrus feels the same. He wasn't even comfortable with the idea until you manipulated him and twisted his feelings to suit your... alien needs. I can't help but feel bad for the poor soul.TripLight wrote...

In Mass Effect 2, Garrus becomes a potential romance for a female Shepard. The option becomes available after completing Garrus' loyalty mission. Throughout the romance, Garrus' demeanor is somewhat awkward; nevertheless, if Shepard asks Garrus whether his behavior suggests that he is uncomfortable with the idea, Garrus says he is just nervous, and that Shepard never has to worry about making him uncomfortable. In these more vulnerable moments, Garrus admits he feels very alone in the galaxy, considering Shepard the only friend he has left. During the final scene, Garrus confesses he wants "something to go right" (he mentions Sidonis and his work with C-Sec as times where he failed, implying his departure from C-Sec may not have been entirely his choice) after which Shepard—who slowly approaches him while he talks—touches his face, stroking the scar he gained during his recruitment mission. The scene ends with the two of them touching foreheads affectionately, followed by Garrus reaching up as though to touch Shepard's shoulder before the scene fades to black.
I know you don't like the romance, and I respect your opinion on it. But there was no emotional manipulation on Shepards part. She very clearly can ask him if he wants this or not. No smoke and mirrors here.

Well, he doesn't want to disappoint her, that's all. He was nervous because he was uncomfortable with the situation. Turians and humans. He even suggest you find something "closer to home". Why would he suggest that if he was comfortable with it?
Because he thinks Shepard can do better, not that she actually does want him.

Well, I guess it's okay as long as she doesn't develop feelings for Grunt... or any krogan for that matter.

Honestly though it wasn't the species of the Alien LI's that got my Shep's attention it was they're personalities. And Garrus and Liara's attracted me, even Tali's but no real same sex relationship is allowed <_<. ****in' cop out.

I always wondered how many *straight* female gamers chose Liara as their LI in ME1. I would too if the only other option was Kaiden, lol. Corporations cause headaches. Talking about them the entire game casues me to suddenly forget about you on Virmire.
