I'm using the bioware aurora neverwinter nights toolset, I have found so many tutorials for toolsets that are completely different.  My problem with the toolset I'm using now is I can't figure out how to elivate or clear land.  I keep seeing this "Eraser" under "Terrain" but when I use it, it puts a tree, or rock, or patch of grass, it doesn't CLEAR.
I'd like to just have a flat floor, and then work on that, rather than having an already built room.
I don't know if I need a different toolset, or just a better guide on how to do this.
Any help is highly appreciated.

You are using the toolset with NWN2 ?

The toolset has two different types of areas it can build. They are designated as interior and exterior when you create them.

The interior areas use tilesets. "an already built room". The rooms vary by tile and you arrange them to create the area. Several of the tilesets have elevation differences, shadow fortess for one. It is a matter of lining up the right tiles to make the area work. These tilesets can be more difficukt to work with.

Tge exterior areas use the terrain feature. You start with the large neon green field and that is were you raise, lower, flatten etc

No this person is quite clearly talking about NWN not NWN2. The erase button does exactly as described. It doesn't erase, it tosses in a new 'bit' of tile terrain, both interior and exterior.

I could help you out a bit, but it would be doubly more effective (as my memory with NWN is not as good since I haven't used the toolset in it for a while, but also because there are many other much more versed than I with all it's little tricks) to guide you into the correct location.

Ah, I thought I was on NWN2, lol. All those expansions got me confused. Sorry for posting here, and thanks for the help.
