Anyway, it's cool Orsino is an actual character.  What'd be really fun is if he's like an in-game celebrity of some kind, so when you meet him you're all, "OMG, You're ORSINO!!!" especially if he's like "WTF go away."

Well, they were fairly careful in Origins to pick names that sort of suited the character, so it could be bear-related.  Maybe he's a shapeshifter.

Orsino = bear
Fenris = wolf
Hawke = penguin

The avatar wearing it on the thumbnail in the market place has short blonde hair. The other 2 on there look like they represent Hawke and Aveline.

I doubt any mage in kirkwall would be a celebrity(besides hawke). Well.. Atleast not in the throw your self at him and act like a raging sycophant kind of way, more like in the glare at dubiously, and call the near by authorities kind of way....

then I believe (and hope) that he'll be a companion.....so far we have no information about a mage companion ( the four "announced" are two rogues and two warriors) and if I remember well there will be at least 2 companions per class.... hopefully he'll be one

Didn't someone  in Dragon Age Awakening mention desire demons possessing mabari hounds? No wait, maybe it was in a book in the Circle Tower when you visit in Witch Hunt.

Clearly the developers know where all this romance business is headed.
