Can people really stop going on with the console wars because its geting old, i for one can't wait to pick up a copy of the Ps3 verstion because i dont have an xbox360. Aperciate it for what it is not what you want it to be people, Bioware is brancing out, stop bemoning the fact and be happy for them.

I'm not a PS3 fan (coughhateitcough) but it's good more people will enter the fantastic universe of Mass Effect, and we'll get more fans, and Bioware will get more money, and we'll get an even better game with ME3.



BTW, this comic, will wel get if for PC & Xbox 360? And about when? Had no idea of this thing, first time i've heard about it.

I don't like PS3, but i'm glad that BioWare made ME2 port there. All people should get to play this awesome game.



Also, it means more money for BW, and more money means better ME3. While personally i would want everyone in studio to work for as slaves and get two slices of bread daily (still hate you for Shadow Broker THAT I FRIGGIN PLAYED AND ENJOYED EVEN THO YOU TRIED TO DISALLOW ME TO), i know that it would negatively affect your performance, and ME3 would be worse - and that's the only point of your existence, and thats one very important point for me.

I'd point out that pointing that stuff out is futile, but pointing it out would be just as futile, so I won't.

(0:14) = Scream
(3:58) = Scream
This game sounds effect are usually share in the industry?

No doubt they've got a shared archive. The film and tv shows shares one as well. I once heared some douche in 'Chuck' (can't remember which douche considering I find almost everyone in 'Chuck' douches) scream the same as a stormtrooper in 'Star Wars: Episode IV' or the same as a German Soldier (damn the censorship) in 'Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark'.

I'd point out that pointing that stuff out is futile, but pointing it out would be just as futile, so I won't.

Sadly have to agree, considering the number of times Chris Priestly, Pacifien or another Mod has pointed out that making console wars is seriously frowned up. Maybe Bioware should just make it an account bannable offence. That might shut some of the people up.

As to answer the question someone mentioned earlier in this topic of why would someone who already owns the game buy the PS3 version? Here is a question right back at the people making such statements? Does them buying it on PS3 version affect you in anyway? No? Ever thought that maybe either their PC broke or their 360 broke... thus they only have their PS3 left and can't afford to replace the broken machines so want to play Mass Effect 2 on the 1 system they have left? Clearly that thought never crossed your mind eh? More to the point, who are you to judge what people spend their money on? I could come up with countless other reasons why some people might buy the game on multiple platforms, but it really is of no relevance to the stupid people asking such things in the manner that they are.

OT: Good to see such a nice review of the game, looking forward to the action. Taking it to the collectors again... YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Edit: @Mister Mida that scream you are talking of is referred to as the ''Wilhelm Scream' it's used in LOTS of tv shows, movies and even games.

Stock screams are nothing new in film, TV, or games.  The "Wilhelm Scream" is the most famous:



It makes an appearance in ME2, on Zaeed's loyalty mission.

Excellent news BioWare! Congrats =)

Sadly, I've already bought ME2 for PC and have ME1 saves for PC aswell, so I'll be skipping ME for the PS3, but it's always good to know other people will now have the chance to experience this trilogy.

I also own both systems and the Xboxs simply do not hold up. I'm on my third,and need a fourth. So yes for slightly better graphics on a better system... Yes I'm converting to PS3. (Rumors slight differences in gameplay also)

I love it when Sony fanboys do this. Every single Sony fanboy out there constantly say "Yeah i got 360, i on 8th one now lol so bad". I have a very strong feeling that you don't even own an xbox.

Anyway, i also own a PS3 and won't be converting my ME playthroughs to it simply because it hasn't got ME1. I might of considered it if ME1 was available, but not without it. No way.

Funny story about system failure.

My brother has a 360 and PS3.  He's on his third PS3 and still hasn't Red Ringed his 360 (although to be fair, as soon as the elite came out he got that and pawned his launch 360 onto me which got the Red Ring right when I started playing ME1)

I had one Xbox 360. I had it for 2 months before it fried. I never got another one.

I'm on my 3rd 360 and my son is on his 2nd.There have been millions of 360 failures due to the infamous RROD which is why MS fixes them for free,eats the shipping cost,and reimburses you for a missed month of LIVE while you're waiting for your console to return...so it's not like prevalent Xbox 360 failures are an urban myth.

I love the platform,just wish it was more reliable.

When Mass Effect went to the PC it became a multiplatform title.  To say the PC is a Microsoft platform is as stupid as me saying "oh the PC is a Sony platform" just because I bought a PC made by Sony.

Perhaps StargazerUK is referring to the Microsoft owned *Games for Windows* banner that so many of these 360/PC duo-platform titles launch under...Although I'm not sure if ME2 PC happens to be one of them.
