Well guess this will be the last Bioware game I buy except for ME3 and only for my son.  Guess Skyrim's my game to wait for this year.  It sucks that they don't announce it before the game is released, probably for this very reason, once you have the game, you can't return it.

Yes, I will boycot.  Why because I have my doubts about the game to begin with and the entire direction Bioware is taking.  There are plenty of games out there that have very interesting straight relationships.

Boycotting the game because you don't like it's general direction is one thing. Boycotting because you object to a bisexual character is borderline homophobic. Especially when you consider gay and bisexuals have not had romance arcs or equal representation in this medium for a long time. Alternative sexualities are a part of life. They should be reflected in our arts, too. If you don't like a bisexual character, don't romance him. If it offends you...well, don't play the game, then. If you have a problem with it being included, take it up with BioWare personally. Coming into a thread like this, though, and saying those words...well, when you direct them at people who have faced a lot of vitrol and hate, it can get tempers up rather quickly to say the least.

I don't care if the characters are straight or Bi. Its a game. Its not real. My enjoyment of the game or a particular character will not get sullied just because they might play for both teams.

We don't know The person who originally went through the XML files contacted me and said that they'd prefer not to post that information because it contains a ton of spoilers. I respect that decision :3

To answer the question: Of course there are many files, and romance files for each character. But please stop asking, this file is dangerous.

I'll make that clear:

Merrill and Fenris have romance files, but there no precision about player's gender. Same thing for Anders and Isabela. It's only some kiss files of them who mentions Anders kiss_male, Anders kiss_female, Isabela kissfemale and Isabela kissmale.

There are a lot of kiss files without names.
I guess it's Fenris and Merrill. Who know? Maybe they are bi. Maybe not.

And you only buy games wth very interesting straight relationships, none of this bisexual business. You're not interested in ANY game that gives you the option to flirt with a bisexual male as a female character.

You're also defintiely not predjudiced or narrow-minded.

Why would I be.  I wouldn't irl flirt with a bi guy but I'd certainly be his friend and am friends with gay guys.  Why would I role play a character that would flirt with a gay or bi guy.  I wouldn't.  I didn't say you all were wrong, I was voicing my opinion.

It's a role playing game.  My Hawke is me in game.  She'll have my thoughts and likes and dislikes.

Again, this still doesn't necessarily mean that those two are the bi lis or the only bi lis. There isn't information about Merril and Fenris, and this could be data from a time long since past in which males could romance Anders. Who knows?

(Anders is probs the bi li, though)

While it's perfectly fine to role-play this way, not everyone does.  Some people like to play wholly unique characters rather than idealized versions of who they are in RL placed in different universe/setting (I say idealized because most of us don't have the head, body strength or courage to save the world in RL. xD)

Heck, my main play-through in Origins was as a male City Elf, and I'm a female human in real life.
