It's a role playing game.  My Hawke is me in game.  She'll have my thoughts and likes and dislikes.

I think we play RPGs differently. When I play an RPG, a design a character with their own personality. Not mine. I wouldn't go around slaughtering an entire village after all. Part of that characterization is sexuality. I've RPed straight, gay, bisexual, and asexual characters before. My RP roots also go back to pen and paper D&D, where characters are more explicitly separated from the player.

I think stepping outside yourself is a good and healthy practice, though. Why else do so many people role play in the bedroom, for instance? Not everyone can be themselves at all times. And experiencing something from the eyes of another can be a valuable tool for solving problems or just understanding people better.

But this is getting off-topic. Yay Anders, I'm super-excited and cautiously optimistic he's the bi love interest. Now I just need to decide whether to play mage or rogue for my first playthrough.

Guys, all we need to do is be as rancorous as possible until one of the devs just tells us to quiet down until March 8, which we can take as confirmation that whatever we already believed was true is true.

I'm coming around to Anders. I still really hope Fenris is an option, though. Those eyes. That lack of a hair-tie.

Kind of disappointed, but I won't be too disappointed since I don't mind Anders if it turns out to be the case.

And well, since Fenris and Merrill apparently don't have "named" kiss files yet, I'm taking all of this with a grain of salt still until it's proven to be official.

I don't know, maybe they think they will actually get a positive review on FOX news if they make a game where the evils of bisexuality can be exorcised. Especially if the straight Li's firmly refuse to have sex until after your marriage and then only for reproductive purposes.

Nate is a stupid sexy flanders. Plus Nate's awesome enough that everyone wants him. Even Oghren knows he wanted a piece of that Howe.
