I don't think she is indicative of the average fangirl. Hers was one voice in this otherwise usually positive thread. And anyway, if he is an extra LI, they haven't marketed him as such, straight or bi. And I don't think they would. The missions and story would be what is marketed; romance content would be secondary, precisely because of the odd lone voice that would chime in moaning about BW selling sex for extra money (again, straight or bi).

In retrospect if I was in marketing I would perhaps not really be afraid of the lone voice as
such but more of what happens when that lone voice turns to a media outlet like Fox News.
Who would then use it to harness the rage of the so called "moral majority" to further their agenda.
Also I'm not so sure she's not indicative of a not insignificant part of straight fan-girls at all, this forum after all only represents a tiny percentage of the game's buyers and this thread and those who post in it represent an even tinier percentage of that.

Besides you're right Catabuca he's not even marketed as a Li at all however
that only reinforces my belief that he's either a Straight Li or not romance able at all in which case they seem to have made him unnecessarily pretty for no apparent reason.

They really work together to tell a story. The moar sex pic is after they've done it a few times in a row and relieved all the rival!sex tension. I also want my Hawke to look like that... I'm in with the "what happened to the epic CG beard?" crowd.

I just read a few pages back about the German magazine. Sorry to possibly bring it up again, if the thing was already checked out. I'm German and I would go to the railway station to get the thing and check for everyone about the LI thing, but I would need to leave within the next 5 minutes to get there before they close, so I haven't read the last 5 pages yet. Usually I wouldn't ask questions I could answer myself by simply reading, just need a quick answer about whether or not somebody claryfied the content of the article yet, before it's too late for today.

Assuming the Anders kiss file is legit, I see it going one of two ways



One (and more likely): Reviewer saw a flirt option with Fenris, which we know will exist because devs have said you can flirt with people even if they aren't romance options, and assumed it meant he was the M/M option.

Two: He actually is an M/M option along with Anders.



Either way, a screenshot with a Flirt icon for Fenris isn't going to confirm anything at all.

In my opinion it also helps that he outranks anyone in DA2, except perhaps Carver, when it comes to looking cute/hot/pretty/sexy.

As much as I would like the confirmation myself for the M/M romances, I feel it is slightly unfair to blame it completely on a double standard that they wouldn't reveal who is the M/M option(s). I think they only revealed as much as they did with Isabela is because of her past in Origins. I doubt they could've stayed mum about her romance status since she was returning as a playable character and she has quite a few fans. I think them showing her flirting with Fem!Hawke is also just to show she didn't turn suddenly straight between games.



Aside from that, I do hope all of them are bi so everyone can get what they want.
