well, I would not be offended if she said italians seem to like Pizza a lot...not all italians do but how many pizzerie do you think there are in an average "5 sestrier" area in venice?

Aren't there supposed to be non-party romances as well? Much as I love speculating among the party, what do you think the non-party member romance options would be?

I mean, would they be local shopkeepers or something or someone in a position of importance in the town of Kirkwall? Given the ten year time frame, I see this as an opportunity to branch out of the battlefield romance and create a slow build romance over the course of time.

My mild objection to Fenris has less to do with his being an elf (that does factor in but only because I have convinced myself that Gaider is more creative than that and shattering that perception would destroy me) and more with how his DA wiki description makes him sound like a bit of a sociopath.

In Awakening when he made that comment about getting a Harem, did he specify a Harem of women? I seem to recall him being specific but I can't remember exactly what he said and I might have just assumed an all-female harem due to his previous line about getting a wife...

I haven't played Awakening yet (still sat in its box looking up at me imploringly) ... but I think we need to remember that the devs (Gaider specifically, I believe) have said they are not afraid of changing what has happened in the past if it makes sense for this game. Now, I've seen that in the context of the text at the end of the game telling you what happened to certain characters, along with how they might deal with the implications of different choices you can make for returning characters (i.e. the fact there is no established canon for some of them, so how do they choose what to make canon for the purposes of DA2?). It's not a stretch to suppose this might relate to a character's opinion on relationships.

That said, I'm not convinced our final character will be Anders, and even if it is that he will be romanceable. But, if it is him, and he is, he may not be exactly the same person from Awakening.

There hasn't been a gay side for earrings since the late 70's early 80's... just fyi.
And if it does end up being Anders (one brief shot in a video is not enough to convince me) and if he is s/s romancable, I really hope it's not as an "i need help accepting my gayness" LI.
It's just... such a yaoi-ish concept. The reality is much less romantic than people make it out to be...

I'm going to be playing as a male first so I hope Fenris would be the bisexual LI. I love his design and he seems very interesting so far. I don't have any issues in having it be another elf, since I doubt his personality would be anywhere near Zevran's.

Aside from Fenris, I would like a bit of a character that gets shy when he starts liking Hawke, a tough character, but soft towards specifically you. Romance first and then sex, it would be fun to for you to be his first relationship, because so far all the other bi LI already had a string of people, while the straight LI had not.
