Haha, well, since (I could be wrong, please prove me wrong if I am!) Gaider said there would be less than that, I guess there'll be none! But in all honesty, I remember a lot more with Leliana. There was her little speech about being attracted to other nuns at the convent, Alistair's jealousy talk referenced the same-sex nature of the relationship, some other stuff. I'd miss that stuff. It all made it feel real, it all acknowledged my sexuality and didn't just feel like the "normal" romance that looked a little different.

SORRY, SORRY. I'll go away. And I'll try to keep my mouth shut if they ARE all Hawkesexual and I'm impossibly bummed out about it and everyone is happy. I really DON'T want to be negative, I'm just really upset about the possibility of this being subjective and this seemed the best place to talk about it.

Cause I'm totally on the side of good here, mostly. If they're all bi -- all legitimate actual bisexuals -- then I'm throwing a damn party. With cake. And happiness.

I kinda have to agree with Rosa but as long as the lines and sexuality don't feel tacked on I won't have a problem with them all being bi. Edit I wish everyone was Bi in real life.

in a small way, everyone is. Its just a matter of how much they willing to admit it. xD

I am not bi in anyway:whistle:.

'Course you are! /flippy flops his hands

Every is Bi, it's all about the ratios of male to female attraction. I wrote an entire College paper on this o_o

And I wrote a WardenxHugh Jackman fanfic. Sadly, it proves little.

Except mine was heavily researched and backed by others research.

Now where were we...

oh yes..

Fenris! Sebastian! Anders! Ooohooohooo!

I'm still really hanging on for Fenris... because... you know... it's Fenris... with the voice of Balthier. (It is Balthier's VA, yeah?)

Yes you are.
Everyone has a little homosexuality in them.
Otherwise they'd be absolutely repulsed and scared of their own body and personal regions.

Not scared of my man things and I am not bi so you are wrong=].

Personally I'd be cool with certain characters rejecting Hawke due to the way he/she treats them or other people.

Say Alistair woudn't romance you if you killed Conner or something similar. Morrigan wouldn't romance you if you constantly went out of your way to help people, Leliana wouldn't romance you if you didn't help people and Zevran wouldn't romance you if you showed yourself to be a human supremist.

The fact that the characters romance you regardless was far more gamebreaking then the PCs gender.

THIS! So much! This is the main realism concern, not the sexual orientation. It's completely believable that some people might just have flexible/not yet explored/multifaceted sexualities (I doubt Fenris had much time to sleep around and find out which gender he likes, for example, and Merill's life simply wasn't about sex for a long time, she was studying - who knows?) but it's completely immersion-breaking that you can wipe out a whole clan of Dalish elves and still get it on with Zevran...

But it's not realistic to never see a gay person in the whole game either, is it? it's like homosexuality doesn't exist , it's like i don't exist, but nobody's complaining, then why complain about them being bi?

Yeah I liked the gender differences myself.

And you don't have to go. I'm the resident Pessimist. I could use some company.

Edit: Notsaying that you're being pessimistic. I just feel stranded here at times.

I've seen a lot of talk from developers about how it's more financially practical for base game LIs to be straight, because adding s/s options requires the expenditure of resources on content that only a relatively small number of players will use. They're buying the game anyway, and developers don't want to sink any more work into their product than they have to. I wonder, though, if it's better financial sense for DLC LIs to be bisexual, since DLC is more or less definitionally content that players are not necessarily going to buy, and anything that broadens the audience is a good thing.

I would not object to an era of bisexual DLC LIs, provided they were integrated into the base game and not just an optional dating sim.

I agree. If they were not to incorporate ANY form of gender-specific dialogue, there would not be any sort of resources "wasted" with the exception of tweaking models for kiss and "sex" scenes. Not that I am saying I would love it if both the male and female relationships were exactly the same, but it is better than nothing.

Having eveyrone bi is just obvious pandering. Rather than risk having anyone whine about "That's totally unfair, i want to romance [character name], bioware must be homophobic" they just make practically everyone bi, as not to make too many waves.

I want bioware to take it in the other direction, design a character that's practially a mastubatory aid, then towards the end of the game, just when player thinks they're gonna get some, have the character turn around and say "sorry im gay, i thought you knew that? i just want to be friends."

Back to the gay sex part. Origins had many male NPCs. Any of you wanted to romance any of those NPCs with your Wardens? And more important, I wonder if Dragon Age II will have NPCs that would make us trade all our companions for one kiss...

But sadly, we never will. Greagoir for me.

Pffft. Gregoir and Irving were totally hooking up. You weren't going to break them up with your Warden.

My Warden is a bad, bad mage and need Greagoir to teach him about discipline.
