Perhaps they wanted all deal to be more realistic. In real life people tend not wear "I am bi" and "I am straight" around their necks but in DAO it probably been the case.

Am I misunderstanding the concept of making waves?  Very very few players are truly going to care if their choice for romance is bi, so long as it's achievable by whatever gender they are playing as.  I just don't see it.  Which is to say they should be bi, so all players get their choice.  Too few are going to be upset by what other players can do to consider them worth accounting for.

I don't genuinely understand why it's taken so long to just go ahead and do it.  I don't see the waves.

Well hello =) haven't been in this tread before. Just been pondering the LI's for a bit and thought that I would add my view. If it was possible resourcewise I guess that I would like it best if there was a LI that was just S/S. I've read David's responses so I know that it isn't possible resource wise. I guess that just for me it would be a little strange if all the LI's were the same. My F!Hawke can be ******, hetero or bi but all the followers are the same. Hmm.... I guess that I would feel better about there being a little bit of mix in the party. Someone hetero, someone S/S or bi. Just my opinion. Hope that no one gets angy =)

If all were bi you could get some really interesting party banter. Imagine that you Hawke had a serious with let's say Merril and then Hawke started dating Isabella and Fenris on the side. If all of your LI's rather have Hawke to them selves you could actually end up in a party with all of the arguing. If I had any talent at writing I would end this post with some witty dialouge with a Merril, Isabella and Fenris snarling at each other. I tried and let's just say that I will spare you that, apparently I can only write labreports =)
