@Shandyr -- M! Magazine had a feature ... the part in question isn't online, only in the retail copy, only available in Germany. Some folks have scanned the picture and caption in question though, so if you scroll back through the thread you should see who to PM to see it.

I'm not saying he said they would all be bi, but I'd like to remind everyone to take it easy when overanalyzing dev posts.

Wasn't the full caption something like: The heart means Hawke and Fenris can enter a romance; Fenris is a male bi LI; the options for s/s love are increased?

So there was a specific statement that Fenris is a bi LI.

But back to what 'increased' means ... assuming they are comparing it to Origins, personally the only reason I can see for them putting that line in there is to say there are more bi LIs this time. It's the KISS principle -- keep it simple, stupid -- why try to think up some convoluted meaning for the sentence when what is simple is most likely what it means? If they had meant 'you can flirt with almost anyone' then they would have said that. Instead they said 'the options for s/s LIs have increased' (and in context, according to the native speakers, that means increased in quantity, not quality).

I think we all need to calm down a little. At this point it looks promising for both to be a bi option, but if that's not the case then it's not the case. Getting worked up with optimism or pessimism is not going to help us. In less than two weeks we'll find out exactly what these reviews meant.

I actually have nothing to do between now and March 11th (besides some online stuff I can make someone else do for me if I need to) since i'm done with Uni and I don't have a job.

If it was possible, I could quite happily just go to sleep and wake up when the game drops through my door.....then boot up a male Hawke and pursue Fenris til he says yes ;D

And if not well thats what chloroform is for. Not that i'll need it because they're all bi (Last time i'll say that)

Despite my loud and obnoxious displays of optimism, I do hope people recognise it is all very lighthearted, and that I (and likely the majority of the rest of us loud and obnoxious AUFGESTOCKT folk) am not setting myself up for a fall here, because my feet are very firmly planted on the ground. Of course I (we?) recognise it's more than possible only Fen or Anders will be bi. The rest ... the rest is us having some fun.

Because that was the difference. The heart was golden when M!Hawke kissed Isabela. Maybe a normal red heart is just for flirting and a golden one is for romance actions? Like a kiss or a touch?

That's exactly what I've been trying to tell people. And don't tell me it's because of a bad scan quality. The border around the actual picture and the blood on the page are still red so why would a heart that was red suddenly turn gold because of scan quality? It doesn't make sense.

Have we seen a flirt heart that wasn't golden?

I think blue is always the peaceful/friendly option regardless of icon, purple is always charming, red is always aggressive/combative, and gold is other/plot advancement. Given that romances can be friendly or rivalry-based, there are probably occasional blue, red and purple hearts.

I suppose it's perfectly possible for the flirt lines to have golden hearts, but I was always under the impression that the hearts were red. I could be wrong.

We've only seen 2 and one led to a love scene. The other one while suggestive we had no idea what it led to. 

Hm....maybe. 

That's why they won't tell us what those icons mean. They'd have to reveal their dasterdly plans.

I agree. *look at the screen again* Even though the screenie quality isn't very good, how can it possibly turn red or bleu or purple to gold? I've been wondering for a while, but *shrug* didn't know what to think about that.
