Also, catabuca may be a little tongue-in-cheek, but his post a while back made me want to say that:
I, 100%, unironically, am entirely certain that they are all bi.
Who's with me?

We're not allowed to say they're all bi anymore. It upsets people.

THAT'S ABOUT WHERE I'M AT. LULZ. ACCOUNTABILITY ON 4CHAN. For those who have never been, you probably shouldn't go. I recommend Encyclopedia Dramatica instead, which archives all the brilliance of 4chan for posterity.Pseudocognition wrote...

Oh no you di'nt:
I played a man**** Dalish elf, and I got this reaction TWICE. First one is Oghren -- he flips out if you pick the "I love you, too Ogrhen" conversation option. With a female he's just like yeah whateves, with a male he's like "GOD, do you have to take it there? Can't a guy just compliment a guy friend without it getting awkward?" Second one is one of the NPC's you can rob in the Dark Wolf / Slim series of quests. If you use your persuade skill to say "Don't you remember at the party, in the closet? The passion...?" He will get really uncomfortable and insist you never mention it again.LiaraShepard wrote...
I don't remember a NPC you could flirt with as a male and he wasn't finally bisexual. Either you could flirt or not. But you never had the choice of trying to flirt with a straight guy.

It can happen! Fenris is a BAMF, no question. Let's just hope he can't remember anyone but Hawke.demonic_cookie wrote...
Does anyone else want to see a 'virginal' (hate that word) bisexual LI? I'm still holding my breath for Fenris; I'd really like mHawke to be his first relationship ever (or at least first that he can remember, taking the amnesia into account) but I doubt it would happen, because of course no one can be both badass and a virgin
EDIT: Also, if you want the magazine scan suggesting that Fenris is bisexual, PLEASE PM ME. In-thread requests will be ignored.

Oh ishmael, your eternal optimism keeps me smiling. No matter how bleak the future looks, no matter the depths my heart sinks to, you're always there like an eternal torch of epic awesome.
PLEASE, NEVER LOSE THE FAITH (yes, unironically).

I never did the slim quests because I always found stealing to be bleh. As for Oghren....it's OGHREN *gags*
And the fact that the guy acts like that simply means he could be in the closet. That doesn't make him straight. Hell given that reaction it's obvious he did something

I really need to play JE.

Well, maybe later.
This is pretty much my problem too.
me to... (glances at stack of games near console and pc) Right now I'm trying to beat DAO on the pc so I'll have a save to load into DA2. But...it always takes some push to get me to Orzimmar. For some reason, that's my least favorite of the missions. xD (probably cause it feels sooo much longer then the others. xD)
lolol, Deep Roads.
For me, it was the Fade. By my second playthrough it was just horribly tedious.
I'm curious to see what DA2's obligatory awful quest will be, I'm sure there'll be at least one that makes me want to tear my hair out.
There have been several times I've thought of rolling a new character in DA:O then decided not to after remembering the fade.
And just to keep on the topic of the thread, I really hope this everyone is bi thing turns out to be true.

When I finally get around to upgrading my PC, DA is one of the first things I'll get. But money is pretty tight right now, so it's pretty low on the priority list.

I've been wondering something. Has it been shown outside of an LI that if you choose the flirty line, there's a gold heart? Maybe the gold heart is always there when you move the cursor to a flirty line? (gah! was that pessimistic logic?I'm no good in the morning. *slaps self and crawls groggily into the happy bi bubble before the pessimist horde swarms*)
Not to restart Heartgate, but I've been wondering if the heart is black like all the other icons (with a glow of appropriate color) for regular old flirting, and gold for dialogue options that will initiate/progress an actual romance. At least one dev has suggested that DAII is very clear about when you're getting away from complimentary banter and into dialogues that may end in you being told to assume the position. A multiple-level visual cue would make sense for DAII's multiple-level romantic behaviors.
Alternatively, all icons are gold in the version Gamespot and the German magazine played, and all of them would be black in the demo if we got to see all of them, which we don't. No way to say. This is just speculation.

I play it on xbox 360 and PC and Mac. That's why I have too many little shields under my avatar. I notice the PC players tend to think their version is the canonical one, though. Personally, I prefer using a controller, but also want to mod, so uh, both it is!Ryzaki wrote...

I would seriously play through the fade 10 times over if it meant I could avoid Orzammar and the freaking mother****ing Deep Roads.
And so do I. In the completely appropriate way, where I believe in you and support you in your decisionsishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
