I'd agree with you, but Tamlen was very clearly labeled as "Tormented Shriek" when you click on him.

Typo, possibly? BW sometimes screws up lore in-game. Idk, it doesn't really matter I guess. xP

For all the WHERE'S TAMLEN? people who played Dalish Wardens and thought they never ran into him again... he's part of the Shriek party that attacks your camp and everyone goes HOLY SCHEISS CAMP ISN'T SAFE ANYMORE. You have to go over and talk to him. Maybe you just ran off without noticing him :X He's become a shriek (all tainted elves become shrieks, qunari become ogres, humans become hurlocks) and he's very tormented and begs you to kill him. Very tragic. And, possibly more tragic, the only person who will respond to having witnessed this event is Alistair, who wasn't even my LI. Zevran didn't have a word to say about my dramatic confrontation.

EDIT: Wow, I was ninja-ed hardcore.

Ah, I heard something happened to him but I wasn't aware when and where. I'm new to the game, so right now, I'm in the Fade (which I HATE sooooo much!) maze in the Mage Tower, so it's going to be awhile before I can get to camp.

God, I hated the Fade. :/ If you have a PC, there's a mod that let's you skip the Fade altogether except for your companion's dreams and the battle with the sloth demon.

That's probably it. My game must have glitched, cause I was never attacked by the shrieks until the third replay of my game. (i was like...the hell?) xD It was weird. Since my dalish was my second playthrough...and I never had that happen...good thing I missed it. I would have been depressed. xD

I'd still rather skip the Deep Roads. The only part of that I liked was the broodmother.

I wish we'd get some hints. or Gaider come in here and feed us something! Cause...otherwise...I'm clinging to the bi bubble in the hopes of getting Fenris.

I hate to be contrarian, but there's a case to be made that this is the "M/M fan thread" as much as the "M/M discussion thread" just as much as the "Fenris fan thread" is the "Fenris discussion thread." I think it's fine for you to post them here, but I don't claim to have OP cred.

I agree. The title is m/m romances. So as long as its about M/M romances, I don't see why you can't.

I am. With Anders. Maybe Fenris, but Anders first. I never did an M/M romance in Origins because I didn't really like Zevran, but Anders was fun enough in Awakening, and I love the direction they're taking him in DAII. So, he's total flirt-fodder from one of my male Hawkes.

Me, with my first character even. Not sure I'd even be in this thread in any form if I wasn't interested I don't even have a preference, Fenris or Anders is fine by me. If by some bizarre miracle they're both bi, Fenris first.

I appologize, I'm not trying to be difficult. I only make the argument because I'm almost certain if I make an "M/M fan thread" to generally fan over M/M goodness, it would be locked for redundancy. Worse, the "Fenris Discussion Thread" has discussion in the name, and yet somehow allows fanart, while ours doesn't? Just, logically, it sits odd with me.
