Yeah, I feel like I need one comprehensive playthrough to really get a good idea of what roleplaying options the game makes possible (this isn't tabletop, after all!) and then I can craft more characters knowing that their ideas will be properly addressed and explored by the game. I'm not going to lie though -- I heavily shape a character to fit a love interest, too, haha!

Fanart of naked people, people making out, people having sex--male or not--scares away regular discussion, and people who want to discuss. It discourages regular discussion over squeeing and drooling.

This isn't a fan thread for a particular character. It's a discussion thread about a topic. Any fanart you have--which I know you all worked hard on and took the time to share--can easily fit within the Fenris, Anders, or Varric thread as you choose. I promise they'll love it there, too. An M/M fan thread would be redundant, but not because of this thread--because it essentially focuses on your love of guys making out. I'm not slamming on your tastes, but that's not really DAII related, since the DAII-related part would easily fit within the other fan threads.

If its Anders, unlike Zevran who I could swallow and try, I don't think I could. He's not attractive to me and his background and both old and new personality just...isn't my cup of tea, so to speak. No offense to those that love him, of course. Opinions.

I'd play female if Fenris is straight...though I'll grimace. (is it just me, or does anyone else dislike how large her breasts are in the romance pic of her and Fenris? I hope we get a mod to change cleavage/body sizes. guess that's just me again. xD *gets yelled at for bad? taste*)

Sooner or later, I'll romance Fenris. Thanks to the glory of the mod community. ^_~

No. I'm saying that I usually don't play as guys until I'm finished playing as girls. That's usually about four playthroughs down the way.

And, even then, I'm going for Merrill first.

... I plan that far in advance. >>  *cough*  I can't help it.  Planning is all I can do without the game. Waiting patiently?  Pfffft, what's that?

So far, my plans are thus:

Lucas Hawke - Rogue - Fenris romance
Lucrezia Hawke - Mage - Isabela romance
Randal Hawke - Mage - Sebastian romance (I am staying hopeful!)
Rosaline Hawke - Warrior - Merrill romance

Still drawing blanks on what class I'd like to roll for an Anders romance, but I'm thinking warrior. xD  Oh Anders, why so difficult?

I feel the same way about Anders. Though I probably would only grimace because I don't dig the voice to much. (The pitfalls of a voiced PC) 

I think they look large for her frame. I'd get them shrunk too. I don't dig overly large breasts on my PCs. Don't worry you don't have bad taste. Unless I have bad taste too in which case you're not alone!

Well, to be fair, she is the one who made the thread, and as the OP, it's her preference that the topic remain discussion based and not squee based.  As much as I like to squee, I really don't mind this.

Not like I CAN'T dive into the Anders/Merrill/Izzy/Fenris threads to gush if the need overwhelms me.

You're allowed to plan in advance because you're wonderful. I haven't even named my first character yet I've tried, believe me. Though, now that I think about it, I think that Alexis (silent s) would be a good name for my gay rogue that romances Anders

Unless someone does a mod that changes a few things about Anders personality, and he's not a total angst fest (which his background story screamed of), then I might change my mind. but its really really unlikely. xD

Sometimes fanart is better suited to more specific threads, such as the ones for the characters themselves.

I hope all of them are bi, but I wouldn't mind either Anders or Fenris (even if I have never met Anders since I only just got DA:O less than a month ago). However, with all of these rumors from magazines and demo files, it's really cruel of Bioware to tease like this, lol!  

Even with a bunch of rejections, I'm sure a lot of players would appretiate being able to express their character's sexuality.

There definitely wasn't a lot of that outside of Zevran and Leliana in Origins, especially compared to how a straight Warden could show hit on pretty much every other member of the opposite sex in the game.

Oh man, I'm having a really hard time deciding between playing a mage or a rogue. On the one hand, my archer Warden from DA:O kicked major ass. On the other hand, my perfect party (Fenris+Anders+Sebastien/Varric) will work better with a DPS mage. Agh, too many decisions.

Also, do you think they're going to have trophies for romances like they did in Origins?

I remember seeing one person who mistook that for  Mage/Mage romance. I lol'd hard.
