Your 'DEAR GOD' reminded me of to the pain.

And on that note, I would really, really love it if Sebastian was at all like Inigo Montoya.

Oh, princess bride.  Why can't I quit you?

Go have my back in the romance thread. It's getting sweaty.

[EDIT] That sounded sexy. I didn't mean it to sound sexy.

Ok, I've found the german magazine you were talking about.
It's called "M! Games" and has a review on 6 pages about Dragon Age 2.

I know you already know about the picture with male Hawke and Fenris.
I just wanted to upload it for you, so anybody can see it.

The comment under the picture says in german:
"Das Herz zeigt: Hawke und Fenris können eine romantische Unterhaltung beginnen. Die Option für gleichgeschlechtliche Liebe wurde aufgestockt"

which you can translate into:
"The heart indicates: Hawke and Fenris can have a romantic talk. Options for samesex love have been increased."

Furthermore you can see on the right of that page, what the golden heart stands for: "romantisch" (romantic)

Here's the link:
i179.photobucket.com/albums/w315/BlackBeaver3/MGames.jpg

For me, that highly highly implies that Fenris is the bi-option.

Very much appreciated, Shandyr. Although it seems to imply that Fenris is a bi option, there's still a question of whether he will reciprocate your flirting. For now, I think the most interesting part is obviously aufgestockt. Does it entail an increase in quantity? I recall from a few pages ago that it was worded like it did and if it meant quality, then it would've been worded differently.

Yaaay!  More screenshots.  Also, have you casted your vote in the 'bi or not' thread yet, Shandyr?

Sebastian looks sure to be plenty angsty and angry, although I still fear he's either a female only Li or just uneccessarily pretty just to tease us poor gamers.

Don't know if anyone has been persuing the Anders Thread - but it appears someone has opened the developer console and they are playing as Anders in the demo.... they are posting rather amazing piccies of him and his powers. Bad news for the Fenris group though - they are unable to access his files for the demo...

For better or for worse.

I also hand out my thanks. And yes, very nice quality. Are they comparing the old dialogue choices to new with the picture of Leliana underneath? That's my guess, unless she's a guest character. xD

The question is:
When does the flirt begin?

As I understand the situation Hawke has obviously impressed Fenris, on which the latter says:
"If only I had known Anso would send such a skilled man, I wouldve send him off earlier to find one"

the romantic option for Hawke to answer can be translated as
"Charming"  or
"You are a charmer"

In regard that the screenshot is on a double page, that compares dragon age origins with dragon age 2 "aufgestockt" (increased) would mean, that there are more options than in Dragon Age Origins
But what exactly these options turn out to be I dont know (quantity, qualitiy)

As far as we know, in Dragon Age 2 it's possible to flirt with characters without having the option to romance them.

Some other people have translated this occasionally as "you flatterer" and for some reason, I have a really strong opinion that I hope that it's "You charmer!" It just feels like it would be so funny to be able to say that to Fenris, since he doesn't seem at all like the charming type so he would become all flustered and confused! If you call him a flatterer, it seems like he would just say that he was being serious. I'M THINKING TOO MUCH INTO IT, I KNOW.

When I try to imagine Hawke saying 'you flatterer', for some reason he says it in a very camp way. xD I think 'you charmer' sounds better myself. Fenris flustered and confused would be cute. I'd love it if I could throw him off his game at times with things I say. ;)

Ok, now you really made me look up my dictionary.

to flatter: "to say nice things about sb, often in a way that is not sincere, because you want them to do something for you"
Charmer: "a person who acts in a way that makes them attractive to other ppl, sometimes using this to influence others"

Consider that there's the golden heart. For me that means Hawk's answer is not ironic. So he means what he says. (Else, there'd be the mask-symbol)

So what do you find more romantic? Truly romantic?
To call someone a flatterer or a charmer?

Yes, yes, quite right commander. How goes the aufgestockt front? I never dared think that the battle would be so close. Ah, to think of our humble beginnings. I remember it like it was less than two weeks ago. You crying out that they must all be bi. My epiphany. And look where we are now. I only wish... Catherine were alive to see this.

Flattery isn't necessarily romantic -- you might flatter your boss at work by saying that he's very smart. But, if you tried to charm your boss, then maybe there would be sexual harrassment issues, haha.

A charmer. Flatter is usually calling someone a manipulator. (in nice or not nice terms usually the latter).

But that's probably just where I live.
Charmer is usually being charismatic and being good at convincing people but it has less negative connotations (less of a "you keep complimenting me" and more of a "you're just awesome  and make me want to do things for you" kind of thing).

...I hate english sometimes.

Look at the all-bisexual banner in my sig... FENRIS is bi... Isabela is bi... I've wondered this myself!

Truth be told, I noticed almost immediately after I made the banner, but I'm lazy, and shrugged it off.

Apparently Fenris is FENRIS now. My brain tells me so.
