Man, I've gotta tell you: I want Fenris for his voice, his inner strength, his stoicism, and his dashing good looks. I want Anders for his angst, his snark, his style, and his dashing good looks.

I thought Zev and Alistair were really great characters and so well realised, but, going on looks and what little we know so far alone, I actually already love Fenris and Anders more.

Not everyone who looks in the thread posts. Some people might be looking to see if they're all bi, see the thread, and assume they are.

When I read your post, I assumed you did in fact know, before looking at what you were particularly talking about. Someone who doesn't read this thread or come to these forums often might assume that a kiss file is irrefutable proof.

If my m!Hawke could have Fenris then my soul will have reached the world of zen.

But I'm really hoping Anders is the bi option too because there are a lot of people who want him to be, and love is awesome no matter who it is doing the loving.

EDIT: Guys, I was just thinking... Remember on Valentine's Day when those screenies of Isabela, Fenris and Merrill were posted on that facebook page? A lot of people were pretty convinced those were fake too, so...

Or the reviewer might have played with an all-LI party and interacted with partyable characters mostly while out and about with them. The LIs are two mages (one healer, one I assume is more damage- or battlefield control-oriented), an offtank/DPS warrior and a dual wield rogue. Especially with a sword&board Hawke, it would be pretty easy to build a party consisting entirely of love interests. Actually, even if there's only one bisexual LI of either gender, it should be possible to build a party consisting entirely of characters who are actively interested in Hawke, which now that I've thought of it is incredibly tempting (I'm not going to pretend I didn't enjoy the way every character in KOTOR II was kind of obsessed with the Exile).

There's no evidence here one way or another, of course. I'm just sayin'.

I recognise the point you're making, of course I do. But there are lots of things that are said in lots of threads along similar lines (not necessarily about the sexuality of LIs). You can only take so much responsibility for the actions and beliefs of others. Almost every long-running thread has in-jokes, or running jokes, that 'outsiders' likely won't get or understand upon first glance. That doesn't mean they should not exist. We're all doing our best to keep this lighthearted and enjoyable, which is all we can really ask for.

I want Sebastian for most of the same reasons though I think I would prefer Zevran over anyone in DA2 we know of so far except maybe Sebastian and Carver.
I can almost forgive Zevran for constantly mentioning the ladies in our relationship on account of how fun he was to have around. In fact the foursome with Isabella and Leliana made me LOL.
If only the companions in DA:O had custom wardrobe options.

@Finis -- oh yes, Sebastian is pretty awesome too. I think I keep missing him off my list simply because of the '4 LIs' thing. That's not to say he couldn't be a sneaky 5th though ;-)

No, I'm staying away from the spoilers at my fingertips. I hold strong. The filename is 'cs_rom000cs_[companion name]'. 'cs' stands for cutscenes, and the 'rom' is for "romance". Interestingly enough Fenris, and only Fenris, has an alternate romance scene. Not sure what for.

I asked the editor of the M!Games article for clarification. Here's what he said:

Zur Romanze mit Fenris: Wir haben für das Testspiel lediglich mit ihm 
geflirtet.  Aufgestockt wurden die Optionen insofern, dass wir mit 
unserem männlichen Hawke diesmal wesentlich mehr Männer anbaggern 
konnten, als mit unserem männlichen grauen Wächter im ersten Teil 
(unter anderem auch Anders, der dann definitv zurückbaggert). Auch 
außerhalb der Party (Stadtwächter in Kirkwall) ist dies möglich. In 
DA:O funktionierte M/M meines Wissens nur mit diesem Elfenmeuchler 
aus Antiva (Name vergessen). Vollwertige W/W-Beziehung kann man auf 
jeden Fall mit Isabela eingehen. Hoffe das hilft erstmal weiter. Mal 
sehen, vielleicht bringen wir demnächst ein DA II-Flirtspecial, so 
ähnlich, wie damals bei Mass Effect 2...

So basically they just flirted with Fenris. According the "aufgestockt" part: They could hit on more men with male Hawke than with the GW in DA:O, including Anders who "flirts back". Even outside of the party there are NPCs to flirt with, like city guardsin Kirkwall.

A full relationship they only tested with Isabela in the F/F constellation.

Make of that what you will :-).
