This thread pissed me off too.

Sorry, like I said, it's a case where I'd be more accepting in reality then in fiction, precisely because it is fiction.  Unbelievable?  Nah.  But it would feel a bit inconsistent to me because (even if I'm wrong) I'll always think it was something they changed about the character for DA2.  Not that I'd actually care, mind you, but cases of sudden and unexpected sexuality in fiction normally throw me for a second before I restablish my suspension of disbelief.

seriously, if I find out Anders is the only bi option, it'll finally be the first game (outside of Kotor and K2) that I'll play an evil character bent on destroying all....starting with Anders.

Okay I concede straight guys will flirt back. But in fiction? What would be the point unless it was obvious (the the gamer anyways) joking?

Because it amused the writers!  Conservation of detail is fine up to a point, but sometimes even the most concise of writers like to have a bit of fun and toy with their audience.

I'm still squarely in the all-bi camp. If it were only going to be either Anders or Fenris, the current evidence seems to point to Anders while my gut feeling is Fenris. That's as good as an all-bi confirmation for me :3

Also, is anyone among is lurking in the spoilers thread? I would assume so. King Ferdinand humbly requests that you update us and/or quote any posts that are relevant to m/m love.

Of course my dear king, will report if I see any m/m related news. I already spoilt the whole game for myself unfortunately <_<

A frenzy about the awakening poster alot of people thought it was for the demo. Needless to say it ended up being an ad for a facebook CLOSED beta. So...yeah.

Absolutely nothing. And that's the point.

There was a flyer in the Awakening game box with that date on it, and the build up suggested something epic was going to happen on that day relating to DA2. In the end, they made DA: Legends went into open beta or some **** like that.

Yeah. The tears. They flowed.

In the Awakening box there was a card type thing with the date 2-1-2011 on it. The devs confirmed (a few days before the date) that it would be something epic. People were convinced it was going to be an announcement for the DA2 demo but instead it was an announcement that the facebook DA game had entered closed beta. Epic fail.

EDIT: Gah. 'd by the lovely (and very optimistic) catabuca.

The first time going, "I'm sure the spoilers aren't THAT spoilery--OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE?"

The second time, going to check the dev quotes only to find that new screenshots were added to the first post.

I has a sad. I need to ignore that place.

I watched the first 2-3 pages then I forced myself out of there, feeling it took the magic and expectation away. I have since then willfully forgot any spoilers I might have encountered there.
