Someone on the Anders thread came in and enquired where we had heard he was the m/m LI, because they looked in the demo files and there was no s/s romance file for him, so he was confused.

I took it to PM and just heard back that actually, the only romance files (and by files I think they are just flags) he could find were mHawke's with Isabela and Merrill, and fHawke's with Fenris and Anders. He could see no s/s flags at all (not even fHawke and Isabela - which we know for a fact to be confirmed now by the German magazine editor who pursued a full f/f relationship with her).

I've asked for clarification, to make sure I understood him correctly, and asked what version of the demo this is (German, or another).

So, alas, we are no closer to the truth my friends.

(Apart from already knowing THEY ARE ALL BI)

There are kiss files for Anders and Isabela for s/s romances.

No flags but really the kiss files are pretty self explanatory.

There are no S/S romance plot flags, but there was still a file named for a male kiss scene with Anders.

Isn't this an old build though? It's possible they haven't coded files for Marian/Isabela or Garrett/Anders at that point because we sort of got confirmation earlier that Isabela is definitely an f/f option and that Anders definitely flirts back with a male Hawke.

Quite. And I've mentioned this in my most recent PM, to see if he either knew, or if it's somehow a different demo version or whatever. Is it only the German demo that allows access to the console commands? Is that where people are getting the massive evil spoilers of doom in the other thread from? I don't understand technical things.

Edit: And no the people in the thread are getting the spoilers from the english demo. But the German demo has plenty of spoilers itself. You do not want that file. You will end up getting the whole game spoiled. So unless you don't care (and it's only two little kiss files nothing to go insane over) I'd leave it be.

Oh yes, we know that. I wasn't suggesting there was no gay in DA2 Just reporting on the lack of s/s flags in the demo, of any kind (apart from that kiss info we already have).

And of course, I don't know how diligently this person has scoured the files, but he came into the Anders thread willingly to offer up information, so ...

The reason I followed this up was because of the way he worded it in the Anders thread ... it almost made it sound like he'd found other s/s information, but not about Anders. But it now appears, with further investigation, this was not the case.

Damn it, I can't scroll anymore since my mouse fell down from the desktop. I still think all of them could be bisexual, because in Dragon Age Origins Leliana and Zevran had already been announced as the bisexual options before the game came out. And I can't imagine yet they put pseudo romance flirt options to the game...they've never done this before. okay, with Samara. But she really loved Shepard, so it wasn't a fake flirt situation.
