At this point, I think I might actually end up feeling bad for Ms. Ryzaki if Fenris isn't bi. I could be moved to a single tear.


However, he's an elf, so it's pretty much a given. Am I right?

Reviewers say Anders responds positively to the fellas?  Okay, i am thoroughly confused.  I seriously cannot concieve them giving us two bi men, and one bi woman.  And I cannot see them making all four of them bi.  But...but the evidence.  Why don't they just confirm it!!!???

Edit: And no the people in the thread are getting the spoilers from the english demo. But the German demo has plenty of spoilers itself. You do not want that file. You will end up getting the whole game spoiled. So unless you don't care (and it's only two little kiss files nothing to go insane over) I'd leave it be. 

I don't think they're all bi either.  But I'm not so sure Fenris isn't bi.  What about that picture of him with him and male Hawke?  The one with the gold heart in the conversation wheel.  Kaiden had files in Mass Effect for a gay romance that was never actually in the game.  Given what we've seen, I'm betting Fenris is the bi option, and that Anders is straight.  I'm not sure whether I consider this good or bad though.  I'm hoping they're both bi, but I'm pretty sure thats not going to happen.

they wont give us the chance to flirt with a gender that isn't interested in you...im quite sure, fenris is bi too...they're all bi. there ar so much people who claim they've heard it...there are magazines which wrote th bi options are extended and there's finally Bioware that didn't prove the opposite fact...in dragon age origins we'd already known some weeks before the actual game cam out which the same sex love interests were.

Pfft once again 2-1-2011.

My worst fear seems to have come true. You can flirt with Fenris as a dude, but it won't get you anywhere. His romance plot flag will be set to DENIED and everything will be incredibly awkward and m!Hawke will never be able to look Fenris in the eyes again.

Isn't getting rejected just so much fun?

Considering that the LI were indeed known for some weeks before it came out, perhaps their silence means they've pretty much said it already, that Anders, Merrill, Isabela and Fenris are the LI for Hawke, regardless of gender.

I am actually looking forward to being rejected. I'm usually not THAT interested the romances because these people, God bless 'em, don't believe in happy endings, but I'm very pleased that I'll be able to play gay.

But come on. The kiss files mean nothing. I am certain of this, yes.

Everyone's still pretty much bisexual as ****.

I agree. With Anders, all we have are reviewers words (told to us by other people) and a small code in an old german demo.

With Fenris, we actually have a picture of a conversation hinting to it. With choices that raise questions of the possibility that he's bi.

Plus, we've been parading for days now declaring they were bi. All the devs have to do is show up, say 'they're not all bi' and leave. And thus we would be stuck arguing between Anders or Fenris.

But they haven't.

They don't have to tell us who the bi option is if they tell us there's only one. So why haven't they stepped in and calmed the panic? I ask this. Thus...

Bi until proven straight. *waves all bi flag*

Officially, whether they are bi or straight hasn't been confirmed for anyone yet. Visual evidence = Isabela flirting with Hawke (female or male), a female Hawke in a LI scene with Fenris and a male Hawke having an option to flirt with Fenris, but the results of that aren't known. Merril is show only in a screen shot with male Hawke, and then we have Anders, whom people talk about, but I've yet to see any conclusive evidence, like in the shape of a screenie, of whether he is bi or not.

Yes, but  when they won't say this time too much it could mean that there are actually more options than before. They know they can't destroy or hopes since everyone is bisexual and so they doesn't have the need to clarify.

This. The lack of actual screencaps or Dev confirmation is why I'm hesitent to believe that Anders is bisexual.

I want him to be bisexual. So badly. Don't get me wrong, Fenris looks sexy and my manHawke will happily romance him, but just the thought of two male mages, changing the world and freeing their people and having hot, man-on-man sex afterwards? OH  YES. OH YES, PLEASE.

If this thread didn't move so damn fast all of a sudden you might have read my post. Perhaps that flag is the same as the Origins clear flag: you screw up, the romance ends, or perhaps it's there for when you decide to end it.

What I find curious is people saying you can flirt with Aveline, which gets you nowhere, and thus conclude the same must be true for Fenris. I've yet to see a shred of evidence for that.

@elirian - yes Laidlaw confirmed that. What he's saying is that just because Aveline can shut you down doesn't mean Fenris is going to. It's quite the leap to say because you can flirt with Fenris then Fenris must definitely say 'no thanks' afterwards.

agreed, agreed. as I said in my last post. It would be easy and in no one spoiling the identity of the BI LI if the devs showed up and told us...

they are not all bi.

Then...we would be stuck arguing between Anders and Fenris. Yet they haven't done this. They've kept quiet and let us go along our path of 'all bi'. thus...until proven straight. I believe all the LI's are finally for everyone this time around. EQUAL ROMANCE OPTIONS FOR ALL GENDER AND ORIENTATION!
