I support both a F/F and M/M romance. It's interesting that romance can take place outside of the group with other NPC's this means there is a lot of exploring to do with NPC's socially.

Why did they not just deny it the moment this got blown up? Is there any other reason besides the really annoying "Bioware enjoys our tears!" thing that gets spammed all over?

It's always better to have two choices. Zevran wasn't everyone's vision of a perfect lover. And if straight people can at least choose between a god character and one who's hardened up it's just fair if bi and homosexual people have the same choice.

We have no idea.

One of the devs (possibly Gaider -- but then I always attribute everything to him, he's my go-to dev when I need to attribute a quote) said they were not at liberty to discuss romances further (in the romance thread, maybe?).

It could just be that marketing has told them to keep tight-lipped on it. Or it could be that they've agreed between themselves they just don't want to let that much information out. Or, they could just miss half the speculation (they don't keep up with the threads to the extent us freaks of nature do). Or they could simply just be evil.

I haven't seen the same merrill pics with male hawke yet...but okay, I have problems to scroll because my mosue fell down from the desktop last night. If there aren't the same pics with mHawke, it can't be a fake. :/
