Is someone going to post the merrill pics in a thread all of their own to lure a dev in easier?

On topic: My male Hawke wants his Fenris. It's always been Fenris over Anders but because of the recent fanart i've started to like Anders a bit more D:

They've been posted in the Merrill thread (not linked, but actually posted) ... so only time will tell I guess.

And yep, the fan art, it likes Anders. There was always lots of great Anders stuff because of Awakening, but new!Anders seems to have perked everyone up a bit. Personally, I very much like his redesign. Hawtness. Oh yes.

The fact I know Anders of old may be why I'm finding a preference towards him atm. That said, Fen has got dat voice *unf*, and is pretty darned sexy in his own right. I'm yet to have had my mind swayed by reading ridiculously hot Fenris slash yet though ... so that's another thing Anders has got going for him.

Working out my Hawkes atm. Already have 3 LadyHawkes planned. 2 romancing Isabela, 1 for Merrill (if the pics are real)

As for my male ones, I think I may go for a snarky rogue who ends up with Anders, and a rather shy mage with Fenris.

Sorry. Alex is Metal_Dragon_Kkjbkadjbgkjabd (still not remembering the last part of his name *shame*). He's drawing some epic FendersmHawke art, and a few pages back he posted the line art for it. It's pretty awesome.

I wasn't a fan of Anders at first in Awakening. See, Anders is a name i've used for male characters on RPG's for a long time. My male warden was called Anders so when I imported him into Awakening for the first time....it was very confusing

Good call on the mHawkes. They fit really well. A shy mage with Fenris would be so sweet. And of course Anders needs someone to match him snark for snark. And since my first playthrough is invariably a male rogue, I imagine he will be a mixture of redfist/purplesnark with the odd bit of greenpeacemaker thrown in for good luck.

And I never play angry characters in my first playthrough. So this will be quite the departure for me.

Given 99% of my previous work is f/f stuff, I'm still not quite sure how I ended up doing what I'm doing. I suspect the fantastic atmosphere we have here and had in the "all bi" thread has something to do with it.

Oh. Rather important question for the pic: as mentioned above, I don't have much experience drawing guys; even less drawing them with nothing on, so........how much body hair do you reckon these guys would have? *shot*

The idea I'm going with is that Anders' snark appeals to him, but then he obviously has to deal with all the stuff that's going on with Anders, and kinda has to "grow up"

I'm actually looking forward to being able to play male PCs; while my primary player character is always female in RPGs anyway, Male Shepard's voice kinda kept my firmly on the FemShep side for Mass Effect. In DA2 I think both Hawke VAs are just as good as each other.

As with previous posters, my understanding is that it got shut down because OP reverted a mod edit and re-CAPSed the title. I suppose they've banned for less.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I'll throw my gambles in with the Merill screenshots. Their discovery was most fortunate in light of plans to expand our glorious kingdom -- she seemed the favored hold-out point of "but this one is DEFINITELY straight." And lo, I have seen some new faces about this thread! We must be living right.

Well if we can convince you to stick around and mysteriously get pulled into drawing more in the future, then I'd say today has been A Good Day

As for body hair - Fenris won't have any (elf); Anders I would say has a light smattering; Hawke is clearly a beast of a man and has a healthy chest of hair. Not bear-like, but a respectable amount, I'd say. Hmm. Or maybe just a little bit more than Anders. Yeah. Best not let yourself get too out of control.

It's very nice of Bioware to include fans of straight Hawke in the romances too.  I mean, we all know that everyone in Dragon Age 2 is  gay, but it's good that some players have the option of pretending Hawke and friends are heterosexual, however weird that idea is!
