It's a very common issue that apparantly no developer ever has been able to fix yet. I guess it's really hard or something? I have noooooo idea <_<

I just realized something. If i have to choose between all those guys (and i surely must, since...THEY ARE ALL BI) i will have a hard time doing so. I want them all.

As John pointed out earlier, the reason these options were left out of the demo is because they weren't optimized yet. So play with the settings at your own risk-- but don't automatically assume that everything will be as you're seeing it in the final game.

I would guess that if he is romanceable (which seems somewhat likely), it would make sense to be available for both genders, because having 4 bi and 1 straight would be a bit odd.

And that would open room for a future DLC female companion to make things more even. I'd definitely love that.

I don't think he would be romanceable, but if the other 4 companions are all bi, then yes, he probably would be, too.

I think them all being bi reduces the chance of Sebastian LI to zero, which is where I think he is at now anyway.

I do not know if I would actually like everyone being bisexual. But my reason for it seems like tokenism, if I think about it even further. I would prefer if the romantic dialogue was not all homogenised between genders. Was that a pun?

It seems like if everyone was bisexual, it would have all the same responses from everyone. But is that a good or a bad thing? Should love be different because it is just between certain sexes? Adding special dialogue because it is either heterosexual or homosexual seems like a bad thing, meaning they could never be equal.

But it is still all speculation. Nothing is certain. They could all be bisexual, they might not. There could be special dialogue or not.

I'm pretty sure it was said that the s/s romances will be more than just swapping "he" for "she" and vice versa.

I don't see why having specific lines for different romances is bad. Leliana did it, and Zevran did it too and it was fine. Better than the companion just ignoring the MC's gender altogether.

I can't find a link to the video, but I've seen a video where they had a custom Hawke with properly adjusted siblings, and the skintone not matching wasn't present there.

HAVING SAID THAT. It's actually kind of realistic for the skintone of the body to not exactly match the face if your character spends most of his time outside while wearing armor. It looks better if the skintone matches, but hey. My face has more colour than my body, for the simple reason that I'm not a nudist.

My brain decided to make up the story that Isabela tricked all three of them into a game where they have to close their eyes and identify objects by touch. In this case, the objects to be identified are the other men's strong, naked bodies.

I prefer uniform bisexuality as long as no one makes a big deal out of it. If they're all bisexual and don't feel like pointing this out, then the companions's sexuality is pretty much an 'eye of the beholder' kind of thing. If I play a female Hawke and her LI is a man, he's straight. If I play a male Hawke and his LI is that same man, he's gay. That's the way I'd like it best.

Of course I'd also like a pony and a magical box with a never ending supply of blue M&M's and I don't see either of those ever happening.

No official confirmation but it seems pretty clear that they are indeed all bi at this point, there have been pics/info/whatever showing each individual LI swings both ways.

It's more of a character thing for me. Of course, the characters can be whatever they're written to be. For example - a lot of people say Aveline or Jack would be great lesbians, but there is no way in hell I see Jack as a lesbian. or bisexual. At all. She seems so completely heterosexual to me.

As for Aveline - I love that she isn't romanceable. It helps define her character very nicely.

I'm weird about this sort of thing.
