Seriously though, can you give me examples of gender-specific flirting that could take place? I'm curious. In terms of pronouns, if they're talking to you, it's going to be "you." The only thing I could really think of would be like...innuendos about clothing or body parts.

No now NONE of them will be immersive because in order for them to be gender neutral they have to focus on...  the romance character.  Not on Hawke at all, not the relationship between Hawke and the character, just the character.  Like Leliana from DAO.  I felt like I was listening to her whole life story just so I could romance her.

You do realize that had NOTHING to do with her being bi right? She just liked the sound of her own voice. and seriously Morrigan talked and talked and talked about herself.

I don't believe that's the issue he has. If I understand correctly, he subscribes to the theory that if all LIs are bi, then their depth suffers as a result. He wants his romances to have more depth, and now believes they won't because they will be more gender neutral as opposed to gender specific.

I asked him something to that effect but he hasn't clarified. If it has to do with people asking questions about you, if they're not talking to you, gendered pronouns can easily be replaced by the word Hawke. I feel like there's a reason why your last name is emphasized as your label. If that's what he's referring to...
