Anders/Karl is actually the second. Zevran/Taliesen was first. Although Anders and Karl probably loved each other, while Zevran and Taliesen had a sexual relationship at best.

I'll bet it's the former. I imagine that Anders and Isabela are canonically bisexual, where Merrill and Fenris are just Hawkesexual. Neither is likely to have that much of a sexual history. Fenris is an amnesiac and Merrill was too busy being First to get jiggy with anyone (except my warden )

I don't think so, not with the stuff they were saying. I don't wanna spoil, but that kind of stuff was pure LI, not really "oh I didn't mean it like that" stuff, in my opinion at least.
