When the game comes out, i'll probably play with the CC for ages to make a Hawke that resembles McDreamy (I dont remember the actors name but i've been watching a lot of Greys Anatomy recently) and pair him with one of the boys. I'm not sure if he'd be best with Anders or Fenris, though D:

Not sure, all that's known now is that his is a chaste romance. Meaning no nookie. He got hit in the head with an apple and decided chastity was a good idea.

Thinking about all the naughty gay things he's gonna do in DA2 haha.

c0wb0ycliche, wow, that's actually a pretty good likeness ^___^ Right on! I love the default fHawke's look too much to change it in my first playthrough, but mHawke just begs to be CCed. You did a good job, and I imagine it will be all sorts of satisfying to play him.

cowboycliche - he's a very good looking Hawke (and you're a very good looking cowboycliche).

I really can't wait to get my hands on the cc. I'm going to spend at least an hour on my first Hawke, I can just tell. Thank goodness for the Black Emporium as well though. Because I just know as gorgeous as I make him, he'll do a derp-of-shame at some point and I'll want to alter something about him.

And yeah I love Bioware's customization. I'd have to say even from just the demo that I'm happier with DA2's customization moreso than DA, ME or ME2. I feel like somehow they managed to make it easier to make a wide variety of still natural looking characters. In DA especially it was pretty easy to make some freaky looking people lol.

I'll forever be traumatized by the Michael Jackson ME2 video.

 I can't get over how good Carver and Hawke look in my screenshots. WHy cannot he not be some random runaway soldier instead of a brother! Although my Hawke will look good with Fenris.

Some of this I agree with, but most of it is pure nonsense.  Gays are not second class citizens in the U.S.  Depending on the state, gays actually have legal protections afforded to them due to their minority status that the rest of us average mortals don't have.  Marriage is also not a right, and never has been since day one.  It's always been based on certain requirements, one of which was one man and one woman; at least in civilized nations.

Only recently in history has marriage been about the love between two people, rather than fostering procreation, uniting families/tribes/nations and creating and continuing blood lines. 

Due to the change in times however, I'm certain that gays will eventually be allowed to marry each other across the continental U.S, so they can be "miserable in love" like the rest of us.

You'll forgive me but I'm 35... I grew up while the world was still growing into this more inclusive day and age and you'll also have to forgive that I still remember the torment I went through as a child. The rest of you "average mortals" weren't being told every day by every advertisement, every film, every preacher that there is something wrong with you, that you will never be happy, that you somehow made a choice to be the way you are and it is your fault when people attack you, or burn down your home just because you are different from them.

Marriage may not be a right.. but is it fair to exclude me from being a part of it just because the person I marry and I can't have children? Wouldn't that mean infertile couples also shouldn't be allowed to marry? No that's silly... just as silly as trying to justify not allowing me to marry the person I lovve.

Nothing I said was nonsense because I LIVED it all and I still live it every day. Maybe you can't understand that cause you don't know what it's like to be treated differently. I feel very much like a second class citizen. I pay the same taxes as every other american... and it kills me knowing that some of that money is going into the pockets of politicians who actively work against me being treated fairly... of me being happy and safe in my country.

You said it depends on the state... yes it really does... and for as many states as you find have civil unions or equal marriage there are as many and more that don't. If you are white and straight I doubt you can ever truly appreciate and understand what it is to be a minority. Until you experience it to feel the isolation, the hate, the complete disregard for your humanity, you can never truly understand the gravity of what it can be like for some of us.

I hope you're right and we do someday see equal marriage. But moreso I'd like to see a world where me being gay isn't a big deal at all and I am just seen as a person and not defined by my sexuality.

Anyways thats enough ranting from me feel free to have the last word but I dont want to turn this topic into my personal soapbox
