Totally! But many, many thousands who will be hugely appreciative and happy about the option, but either don't frequent these or other forums or will be just too busy squeeing and playing the game to say a proper thanks!

I'd be happy with Fenris. But literally over-the-frelling-moon if it was Anders - I want Hawke to be different to my Warden and another unrequited crush on a funny, blond human will NOT make that easy

No, no, don't complain about "only one" bisexual male! If we're not grateful for what we have, Hawke will end up like Shepard--the only gay man in the galaxy!

Besides, this only confirms what we already knew: there will be "only one" bisexual male party member. (Note that there's only one bisexual female, as well.) However, there will probably be a handful of bisexual "light romances" for players to enjoy. Yay!

Oh, I'm not ungrateful, just always hopeful.

Edit: Also, I've been hoping for ALL bi Love Interests for a while, thus the post.  Meaning, I was also hoping that the female Love Interests would be bi as well.

Still happy to get one, but I'm not going to stop hoping for more choices in the future just because.  Nothing is set in stone for future installments, after all. =)

Hey! Varric fans just got a promising lead. I'm not saying Varric is ugly or inappropriate, but I can see at least twenty dwarf haters all rushing to complain.

I am curious as to why everyone points to Fenris as the obvious or most likely choice for a male/male romance? I mean I don't care either way but to me, as a female, I don't see him as very bisexual I guess? lol

If anything, I would say that he is asexual and not interested in romance at all or sex for that matter. I think Varric and Anders make better more open-minded individuals as far as male/male relationships go.

I'm not sure others reasons. I would just like him to be, because I no longer can play an elf...so I'd like to still have my elven romance. I like silver haired types, and I love the stoic ones (with the possibility of *glances around for signs of Katie* rivalry romance leading to Hawke pinning Fenris to the wall and ) And as a female, I can very easily see him with my mHawke. xD

Really, i never think much of stereotype when it comes to race. I do hope its not Anders, cause the more I hear about him...the more he strikes me as a human version of Zevran. <_< And Sebastien is just scary with his dracula face. (to me at least) Plus he's DLC, and I'd hate to pay for my m/m. Other then that, Varric isn't bad but Dwarf's aren't really the most popular choice, thus focusing on a limited audience even more so then the m/m itself is. xD

I understand. I just don't want bi-elves to become a trend or something haha. ^ Agreed. If the personality is win, most of the rest can be made up for. I don't want a bi elf trend either, but I don't like this 1 m/m LI only trend either. Funny thing is...In DA, I wanted the human. Now in DA2, I finally want the elf. *go figure* xD

anyway...i just go dao for pc and some very lovely mods...so I'ma go get that human now. >8)

I'd be one of the haters if the m/m options was Varric. Sorry. Just because I find the dwarf thing weird.

I haven't played Awakenings yet, so I can't comment on how I'd feel about Anders being the bi LI, no more so than I can about any of the other guys (apart from Varric - I'm perfectly qualified to state I don't like dwarves ). And anyway, if his character is going to be somehow different from in Awakenings - well it'd be daft to speculate purely going on what he was like in that game.

Going simply on what little info I've seen so far, both Seb and Fenris interest me from a story pov, but perhaps Seb more so from a 'yeah, my m!Hawke could get into that' perspective.

Either way, I can't wait to find out the stories of all the companions, and then who my Hawkes will be attracted to. (As long as it's not Varric ... what? Did I say that already? )

Well, the truth is, we know very little about Fenris, so we're making some huge assumptions here. Out of all the male companions, Fenris seems very likely because:

-The Anders we knew was very much into females.
-Sebastian is DLC, and less likely to be romanced by anyone.
-Varric... is a dwarf. Let's be honest here, his romance would anger a lot of people.

So... that leaves Fenris. I didn't get any sexual "vibes" from him either way, but that's probably because we've only seen about two seconds of him.

See, now, I just can't get the mental image of all the right ways Varric's height could be applied to manHawke... Still, I hope its Fenris. And I hope Gaider's comments on romance dlc being an interesting notion means Seb will be the first romancable dlc. cause I could get behind the idea of dishing a little cash for a second option. (so long as its not the only option aka, something is in the game already)
