Honestly, the fact that Fenris doesn't really acknowledge the m/m relationship doesn't bother me too much. I'm grateful enough for the equal-opportunity romance selection, and I'm sure the only reason it was done this way was because of budget reasons - which is entirely fair, in my opinion.

I just got back from gamestop with the special edition game guide, page 187 confirms that all love interests but Sebastian are bisexual. I snapped a picture of the section of the guide with page number and will be using that on the wika for it. http://oi56.tinypic.com/1ymjja.jpg < the bok says it contains no spoilers, but it does so click link at own risk... I am following up since some people think that this is a big deal and have influenced the purchase decision of the game.

That should shut the doubters at DA Wiki up Great job! Loved watching them argue how the Merrill & FemHawke screens were 'obviously photoshopped', pfft.

While I'm eternally grateful for sharing the pic and shutting up all those Doubting Debbies out there, perhaps you should emphasize that the pic ALSO contains a VERY HEAVY spoiler not related to bisexuality and Sebastian?

I saw it and still cannot recover from it, and I believe that people should have a fair warning before taking a look at the pic...

Call me crazy, but shirtless, swaggering custom Hawke looks like he'd be in for some M/M fun. If Anders (also being human) has a similar physique and swagger, I don't know how my Hawke will be able to resist. The only thing that could really get in the way of that would be Sebastian being an option...

Fenris has a LOT to live up to, looking at the whole 'I'm a hot piece of beefcake' thing humans seem to have.

So Sebastian IS a love interest then, albeit a straight one. That's good to hear, even if he isn't bisexual like the others. I'm definitely gonna try romancin' him at some point. xD

I'm a bit disappointed [Fenris] doesn't acknowledge the, uh, novelty of guys liking guys like Zevran did and Anders does, or at least he hasn't yet, but hey, you can't always get what you want.

It is acknowledged, however briefly :happy:.  Without getting too spoilerific, after an intimate moment, Hawke is confused at Fenris's less than stellar reaction.  Hawke asks if Fenris is troubled because they're men, but Fenris assures him that isn't the case.  Angst follows.  The scene is handled well.  It recognizes the fact that a same-sex relationship carries a stigma for some people, while also pointing out that in the big scheme of things, it isn't a big deal.  A job well done, Bioware.

MHawkes underwear makes me puke, the female one is just meh... It seems dragon age II has become a lot more conservative, aiming for a PG rating for DA3 perhaps?
Somehow all manner of violence and cruelty can be gleefully added to a game without it affecting the ratings yet some corporate managers seem to think that when some children (who shouldn't be playing this game in the first place) see any amount of bare skin, it will suck out their soul and make their brain explode or something like that.
If Klace's screenshot here represent the height of the romance cinematics in this game I'm very underwhelmed. If this is all then I'd rather have the old fashioned fade to black back.

I love the underwear for m!Hawke! It looks great and so much better than the loincloth in DAO.

I didn't get to play myself yet, but everything I saw makes me want to play it even more.

Also, The more I learn and see about Fenris or Anders, the less I can decide whom to romance!
They are both amazing and interesting and Bioware did a very good gob with making people to want to replay the game differently. A lot of people seem to have lists going on for different playthroughs.

In about 30 minutes I finally get to play!

Edit: 30 HOURS! Oh, I wish it was minutes...

Hi!

I´m sorry if this has already been discussed, but I don´t dare searching for it because of all the spoilers - I have just one question regarding the Fenris Romance: I plan on playing as a mage in my first playthrough because I think this ought to be the most interesting class storywise, but now I´m wondering if it´s even possible to romance Fenris along the friendship path if I´m playing as one.
Rivalry romance works for me as well, I just want to know what´s possible so I won´t end up stuck accidentally in the middle of the meter.
I´m living in Europe so I still have to wait two days for the game... which means I have a lot of time to think about these things

Sorry for my terrible english, it isn´t my first language as I´m sure you have noticed.

I should think it's possible, Valaun. You'll just have to side against mages, and agree with his point of view. Whether that is in character for your mage or not is for you to say ... if you want to be a pro-mage mage then rivalry is the way to go.

Anders relationship is very sincere though he really really falls in love with your hawke. I've yet to get Fenris to do anything to me but Anders seems to really fall in love with you even stating: "For the last 4 years i've been aching for you every night"
