I am very serious, thank you. There someone goes again with the 'elf' reasoning. I don't care what the race is. I care about looks, background, and personality. Fenris is to my personal taste and I like the potential his background opens for both his personality and story. That's why. Enough with the 'but he's an elf' whining.

Him stealing might be more of a "chaotic good" tone. I don't remember the context so I can't be sure....however he his noble in terms of his cause.

He talked about stealing fromthe wealthy sure but he never saidhe *didn't* steal from mid class people. And the suggestion that his wife might burgalize the PC's house made me pretty certain he didn't discriminate.

As for Zev...him being an assassin speaks for itself.

Ah that's why he goes into a rage. I wonder if on the rivarly path Hawke will constantly poke him.

And if you constantly select him he'll eventually go: "Stop. touching. me." in a rage voice.

Yes, but there's a difference between accepting something and acting as if Fenris being the gay LI is the best thing to happen since who knows when.  Of course Bioware decides, but that doesn't mean I can't express my disappointment with the potential choices.

Plus, I don't get where this "beggar" thing is coming from.  DAO had a gay male LI without anyone having asked for anything (at least I think, it being a new licence and all).  So if Bioware is including another gay male LI, I don't see how that was the result of anyone's begging (they already did it on their own for DAO, who's to say they didn't do it on their own for DAII?).

Bioware writers are capable enough so that the similarity in two characters being elves is a trivial one. Fenris looks to be very different from Zevran.

True, everyone has different romantic tastes, which is why I think we need more than one m/m LI.  I happen to like elves, but I don't expect everyone to.  I also happen to like humans, but I don't expect everyone to.  If we got as much variety as the f/m players, I think we'd all be happier and argue less.

I'll stop being a broken record now eventually.  I promise. :innocent:

Exactly. I may like Fenris' backstory and badassery, but I can still say that he has no sex appeal in my eyes.

Sorry if I snipped. It's just starting to feel like anyone who doesn't want an elf is getting ganged up on.
