Was Wynne still human? I get the impression that the Anders/Justice thing is more like Wynne's deal than Kritoff's so I'd say so. Wynne was still herself just boosted and sustained by the spirit. I think Anders will be the same but have the added issue of wrestling to keep the demonic version of the spirit at bay.

I wonder if the Rival path is getting him to open up and be more human wheres the friend path is pretty much telling him to continue being locked off and making himself the ultimate weapon.

I know what you mean.  It was recently announced that Aveline will not be a LI in an interview =( which is a shame.  She seems like a beautiful woman, both inside and out.

Seriously?  That's a shame.  Even though she was married, you know .. they can get into a relationship again.  Unless BioWare has her connections with her husband really deep ... kinda like my parents after my mom died.

I dunno if its just me, but Fenris doesn't look romancable to me at all, and I'm not just thinking about his personal space issues. Zelgadis from Slayers?  But there were a lot of hints that he liked Amelia,  so he wasn't completely heartless ya know? Hopefully Fenris isn't as silly as Zel either, haha.  Though he was stoic to start....

Dunno though.  I still think it'll be Fenris as M/M in general,  with Varric or Anders as straight.  I'm always wrong though....XD

He's very much romancable in the way that you have 10 years to poke him continuously until he either a) detaches your arm as demonstrated earlier on this thread or warms up and starts to trust Hawke a little or c) I get tired of him fumbling with excuses and pin him to a wall! >8D

I hope it's Fenris..he's very cute...and slender...and sexy...and doesn't like to be touched=angst=
Sebastian would be ok too..he's a prince right? LOL.

Anders would be ok but he's possesed, so I don't know if I would like to romance him.

I think some people just want Fenris to be the LI and are projecting that desire as his liklihood. I could go into detail but I'm still only on my second cup of coffee.

Annnnd about Sebastion, he's a prince and as such will have a duty to produce an hair. So if he in fact does retake the throne, he'll prob marry a female and have you as a "concubine/favorite," because by the end of the day duty>love. Of course this is only if it's m/m, so yeah...I'd prefer not to be the "kings side action."

There might be a marriage part of it. Couples these days are lucky enough to last ten years without somesort of infedility or disapointment popping up. It be nice if you could marry your LI anyway, though since this game is also an adventure game, it probably wont happen.

Nobody said she had to be sexy.
Heck, he doesn't even have to like her. People marry and make babies with people they hate all the time.

I was thinking of getting Origins for PC as well (strictly to abuse the mods that are out there) but unfortunately, I doubt my computer would be able to handle it.  It's a dinosaur. xD  I'm hoping to get it replaced sometime this year... but I may be unable to.

In regards to the whole King!Sebastian, 'I don't want to be second-fiddle to his maybe future wife' thing... My guess is that it would depend on in-game events, not unlike with Alistair.

It would also probably depend on Sebastian.  From the trailer, it would be my assumption that he had no real interest in the throne until his family was murdered.  Reclaiming it from their assassins seems to be more a point of honor and revenge than actual desire to rule.  The player can help Sebastian get back the throne, but who knows if he'll actually sit on it in the end?

But this is all supposition until I actually play the game. ;D  Until then, he's got my number one spot.  Sort of.  I still have my doubts due to the whole DLC thing.  It would be a pleasant surprise though.

The PC version is stunning. On my new asus computer, the graphics are quite lovely. But its what's in the game that wasn't in the console that surprised me. All small things,but it amazes me. There are smaller little cinematic/action scenes and moments that play in the story that didn't in the console. Ostagar and Lothering are far more heavily populated with npcs, making it feel like a war camp/refugee filled town. There are small things like sound effects that blow me away. I'm making my way up the ostagar tower to light the torch, and as I get higher up the tower, I can start to hear the snorting and grunting and footsteps of the Ogre at the top waiting for me. In Lothering, the background is filled with the sounds of crying and scared refugees. And now I can't wait to get out further into town. (and romance Alistair. xP) But yeah...these are things I never saw or noticed in my console ver over the 4 times I replayed it. So I'm having a field day here. Definately want DA2, just for these small tidbits. And the mods. Cause I'll still get Fenris, one way or another. xD <3
