The PC version is stunning. On my new asus computer, the graphics are quite lovely. But its what's in the game that wasn't in the console that surprised me. All small things,but it amazes me. There are smaller little cinematic/action scenes and moments that play in the story that didn't in the console. Ostagar and Lothering are far more heavily populated with npcs, making it feel like a war camp/refugee filled town. There are small things like sound effects that blow me away. I'm making my way up the ostagar tower to light the torch, and as I get higher up the tower, I can start to hear the snorting and grunting and footsteps of the Ogre at the top waiting for me. In Lothering, the background is filled with the sounds of crying and scared refugees. And now I can't wait to get out further into town. (and romance Alistair. xP) But yeah...these are things I never saw or noticed in my console ver over the 4 times I replayed it. So I'm having a field day here. Definately want DA2, just for these small tidbits. <3

Definitely sounds like good incentive to start saving up for a better PC. ;D  Honestly, I didn't know they were so drastically different.

Still, I like playing on console. =)  It's served me well!  I'll consider getting the PC version when I can afford the upgrade. xD

I just love the Anders/Justice concept and how tied into the main storyline he seems - in the way Alistair was in DA:O.

I know what you mean.  *sigh* I seriously do hope we one day get all bi LI's.  That way the few characters who are open to romance won't be gender restricted. =(  Straight Hawkes and Wardens get 'Choice A, Choice B, or nothing.'  Gay Hawkes and Wardens get 'Choice A, or nothing.'  It makes me sad. xD

And as much as I would reaaally appreciate a bi Sebastian, I know that the chances are low.  I would stake money on Anders and Fenris for possible m/m LI's.

I would be amused if BW pulled an EPIC TWIST and the LI's were Sebastian and Varric though.  Underdogs for the win. ;D

How about this..... Sebastian as a bisexual light romance, ala Kelly Chambers?

It's seems just as likely as any other romance for Sebastian, honestly. Though, he seems a little too serious and driven to want a "light" romance... You know, just looking for comfort or the chance to blow of steam doesn't really seem to fit my current image of Sebastian, but hey, it could happen.

I wouldn't want all our LIs to be bi-sexual. That would just be silly. Not everyone in the world is bi, and I don't want them to do it just to appease the fans. :/

The realistic arguemet doesn't make much sense considering how much stuff in the games are unrealistic. 

Granted I used to use that arguement myself but the only times its used for is if someone does like something. Might as well out and out say you don't like it.

Variety is the spice of life 
Which makes me wonder...why does all the relationships have to be monogamous? I don't want to derail the thread, but some people don't mind sharing

but like I said earlier!!  If they did that, we'd have nothing to argue or whine or debate about. The forum stalkers would get bored waiting for the game.

You know...from what I've watched on youtube, Anders and Justice did seem to have this little...tension...between them.

That sealed it I want Anders. I want hot uberpowered scruffy philanthropic mage-on-mage lovin.

Edit: OOoo almost forgot something that crossed my mind earlier when Gaider was mentioned in reference to Fenris.
Jennifer Hepler, the one writing Sebastian and Anders for 2, wrote Hespith and Branka in Origins so she has some s/s writing chops too.
I mean sure they weren't the most functional couple   but that's s/s writing history too! Just like Gaider

....i just had an imagined scenario between Justice and Anders that runs along the same lines as Hespith/Branka. I mean...if she wrote those two...and is writing Anders...thus having to write Justice to, then...  xD

Who says someone who didn't write a s/s character before couldn't pull it off now or that one who did would necessarily do it again? I don't think it makes anything more or less likely.


After that video Anders just got so much more interesting for me, I'm changing my mind about him, he'd be a cool LI.

But actually, after reading some desired scenario posts that personally made me cringe, I realised that I'd rather have a good story (as in one i'd personally enjoy) with any given character than my favourite in a scenario or with a personality that makes me go .

I'm no longer hoping for anyone in particular now, just that whoever it is, it's done well and exciting.
Oh, and I really, really hope I won't end up on the wrong side of the friendship/rivalry scale missing out on the romance option. That would be so anoying after all the hype.
