can someone give me a link to the video showing the characters like Fenris? (and his voice) I can't seem to find them myself.

*snickers* Ah, the fun Varric could having telling Cassandra his tall tales. By the way, why did she have black hair last I saw her and then in a trailer for DA2 I watched today it was silver? I hope its still black, cause she looks bad with silver hair. xD (that's Fenny's trademark!)

I am going to enjoy playing this game. <3 even if he isn't the bi LI, I'm officially stalking Fenris everywhere, keeping him permanently in my party, and ending the game either his lover or his best bud/best rival. he will not escape now. xD

I'm still of the opinion I don't care who the bi LI is as long as it's not Varric (sorry Varric lovers, just that in my games I like 'em pretty).

It doesn't have to focus on something to communicate it. We know a lot about how sexuality is viewed in Ferelden, Orlais, and Antiva just from conversations, banter, histories, and codices we got along the way in Origins.  There's absolutely no reason to believe the same won't be done in DA2.

Me too. Especially after the character video. I really like the properly heroic side he showed there. That whole "defending the defensless because it's the right thing to do" attitude. It would be nice to have that kind of character playing for our team. 

Of course the Vengeance thing will alter him but we'll have the chance to sway him back to justice so hopefully there will be a way to get nice-guy-Anders back.

I dunno... you make it sound a lot more nefarious than the magazine does.
If it's the game informer article you're refering to then the exact wording is, "You'll discover hidden motivations for his new way of life."

Given it's Anders I'd be willing to bet money that the hidden motivations have to do with fighting the Templars.

I would think all romances would be optional.  They were in Origins.

And this time the game seems to be devoid of ninjamances. Thank god.

No need to apologize.
Ninjamances are basically when player enter romances unintentionally. They click on a dialog options that seems innoucous but it actually leads to romance.
DA2 seems to be getting rid of this problem by labeling dialog options that lead to romance or have the player character flirt with another character.

I still don't know how that happens. I've played DA:O many times with different characters and I've never "accidentally" ended up in bed with someone.

I mean, if you're not gay and  Zevran wants to give you a massage with a little extra fluff.... Say no!

Tbh I believe as long as you make friendly convo choices, the romane shouldnt happen. And besides, the romance choices are obviously placed in this game

There were no real spoilers. It just went over the first hour or so of the game's beginning, without going to deep in to spoil those who will soon play it.

yep, that's it. but it sounds nefarious to me. xD I think by helping people, it his way of gaining allies and supporters against those who speak out against apostates. Its all to spite the chantry. *snickers*

You know, I listen to Fenris, and I think about his story, and I think 'I really hope he will be the bi LI'.

Then I listen to Anders, and I think about his story, and I think 'I really hope he will be the bi LI".

Then I listen to Seb, and I think about his story, and I think 'I really hope he will be the bi LI".

Then I rinse, wash and repeat.

Whichever of those 3 it is ... I'll be happy, of course, but I know I'll end up wishing at some point the others were bi too XD

Well I kinda think that Fenris will be a bi LI of DA II and I will try to ellaborate on that:



Sebastian: He is DLC content so he is an "optional" character for the story, so if he is LI will be for both sexes but he wont be the only bi LI since you will have to buy the DLC in order to get him in your party



Varric: As we know he is the narrator, and if I was Cassandra I wouldnt go to the lover of the champion to get any info for obvious reasons.So i kinda think that Varric wont be an LI



Anders: Anders was a member of your party in DAO, his official descreption back then stated that he enjoys the company of women furthermore if you had a female warden he was really flirty, that didnt happen with male wardens. We know that in DAII he is a "roommate-lol" with a spirit so he is changed however i highly doubt that a spirit would alter a persons sexuality, usually spirits prefer to mangle with other aspects of a person's character ,there are exeptions ofc-lets say the Lust Deamon, but i think that justice/vengeance wont go there



Fenris: His story arc is really interesting, we do know that he was raised as a living weapon that he bears an aversion for human touch and that his master still hunts him, these elements make his story interesting but I think the possibility of romance makes the whole thing much more intriquing and dynamic so if the devs decided to make him LI it would be for both male/female Hawkes in order to give the opportunity to experience his story arc in a proper way for both sexes



So I bet that the LIs will be the following

Anders : female LI

Fenris: bi LI

Varric: not an LI

Seb: Either for both or for none
