Yup. Reviewers will spoil us if we let them.

I wish it's Anders this time. Reading Fenris' backstory sort of reminded me of Zevran (the whole hunter thing was especially kind of reminiscent of Taliesen). I liked Zevran, but I don't know if I'd like a Zevran 2.0 for m!Hawke. On the other hand, Anders sounds completely psychotic and creepy. I'm scared of what might happen if I gave my m!Hawke a Templar specialization. No head ripping I hope.

Still no news on whether it's Anders or Fenris then? I'd be happy with either, but I'd prefer Anders.

Honestly, I hope the M/M option is Anders. I mean we've already had an elf as the bi love interest in Origins and if Fenris was the DA2 M/M option it will just feel a bit repetitive to me personally even if Fenris is nothing like Zevran. I've got nothing against gay/bi elves but that's just how I feel. Anyway if Anders is the bi option it wouldn't surprise me because I could see it being similar to the Leliana romance. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Leliana showed any interest in a male warden unless he showed interest in her first, whereas I think she developed a crush the female warden after her approval was raised a bit. Maybe Anders will show interest in Lady Hawke, but won't show interest in Male Hawke unless he makes the first move.

It's probably just wishful thinking though .

Guess this means the only real option for me in DA2 is to be straight with Isabella (here's to hoping for an Isabella makeover mod to be released very soon). Honestly what there they thinking romancing an Anders Justice hybrid abomination has as about much appeal a being assaulted in the rear by dragon Flemeth, scratch that being thus assaulted by dragon Flemeth has more appeal to me. As for Fenris and Merril too I guess the new cute and childlike elven looks just don't do it for me, even if Fenris has the most amazing romance dialogue Bioware has ever written, I'd feel like a pimp in Thailand.

I'm so torn! I have this M!Amell that I want to transfer into a male mage-Hawke, and make an epic family legacy of anti-Chantry mages..... and the only thing that could make that better would be a healthy serving of Anders/manHawke romance. It would be.... AMAZING. They could fight the Chantry by day, and be MAGIC LOVERS by night. Oh, yes. Oh yes, please!

But then again.... I really want a man-romance with Fenris, if only for the Gideon Emery-style sweet-nothings. Yessss.....

I would've preferred Nate returning over Anders to be honest.

Man, I was shipping Anders/Nathaniel pretty hard. It all began with the "Not when I'm naked, I don't" line in such a flirty tone. As if he'd be willing to show Nathaniel what's really under those robes.

I wouldn't mind if Anders was the bi option but I really don't understand why Anders being possessed by a Spirit of Justice/Vengeance would mess up his sexuality, when said spirit is more likely focused on...Justice/Vengeance, than his sexual preference and who he's going to sleep with.

This isn't the Spirit of Love here, people.

Personally, I want the S/S option to be less flamboyant and camp than Zevran. I like Zevran well enough, especially when he offers his ring the second time as a token of affection, but he's just too forward and lewd for my tastes. I'm the kind of gay man who prides myself on the emotional connection and affection between partners than the backdoor banditry.



So long as the emotional connection comes forth long before the romantic interest, and that you have to work for romancing the S/S interest(s), I'm fine.



Also, in case everyone else forgot, there's Juhani in KOTOR for a F/F romance, and then Sky in Jade Empire is an M/M, and both focused much more on the emotional connections than raw sex.



That is the kind of connection level I would like for a male Hawke and his S/S interest(s).

Though really...the fact that Anders may be a reanimated corpse is kind of... 
Then the cannibalism... 

....Well if he's the s/s LI it woud certainly be interesting. I wouldn't kiss him until after he brushed his teeth several times though...and then some.

I remember Sky, it took a lot of effort to get him as the Li, though most of that effort consisted of resisting the female Li's throwing themselves at you especially the princess.

Bioware really should have included better dialogue options to let the females know you weren't interested in them in that way as I found I just couldn't put myself to be rude to a lady.



Still I happened to like Zevrans flamboyance, its too bad companions didn't have custom armors and clothes in Origins. Tight leather clothes for Zevran, yum!
