Got to say, I felt the same way after reading the Anders story in the LI reveal thread.

First thought was, "Medieval dental-hygiene being what it is... I would not smooth that."

So, since Sebastian, my number one choice is out, and Varric is out, I think I'm firmly now a part of the Fenris train due to lack of cannibalism.

Sorry Anders, you're still freakin awesome.  I just don't approve of Vengeance's diet plan.

I can't help but wonder which one it will be. It'd be awesome if it were both of them, to give us a choice, but I'm pretty sure it's going to work like the other Bioware games have: Two straight interests per sex, one for the gay/lesbian interest. I'm not complaining, but saying that I think that is the most practical idea of how it'll work.

The both of them got quite a good backstory possible for both genders, so I'm actually quite unsure who's gonna be the m/m one. I'm pinning it on Fenris though, mainly due to his slender looks and pretty face, as superficial as it is.

Though, hey I'm not gonna complain at ALL if it's Anders.

In fact, I will find a way to romance him regardless of your evil (or good) plans. Since he can be romanced by fHawke, if he's not bi there will be an 'equal love' mod to turn to!

I just started romancing Alistair with my mMage...he's very sweet, but sometimes really corny. xD I think I'm ready for a more serious go with Fenris.

Agreed.  Really glad I stayed pessimistic on that one, but I'm still disappointed.

If it's Anders, I'm probably just going to roll straight up Lady!Hawke's and romance Isabela on every play through.

I've given up on guessing who the m/m LI is going to be.  I see cases against both (not strong cases, perse, but cases nonetheless.)

I liked the Zevran romance in DA:O, but from what I've read on the forums, he's not a well-liked character.  Plus, there are some people who just plain do not want another elf.  While I personally don't feel this way, I CAN see it as incentive for the developers not to pin another elf as bi LI.

As for Anders, people argue that he's pretty well established as straight, and was only ever flirty with female Wardens.  Zevran, on the other hand, preferred women, but openly flirted with both genders.  So people think it would go against the grain for Anders to be 'suddenly' bi.

Regardless, I'm now putting my hopes on Fenris. xD  And I admit, I will be disappointed if it's Anders.

I kind of hate myself for the sudden 180.  Fenris and Anders were tied in my mind until I read Anders' short story.
