I was lobeying for all bi LI in DA:2 a few pages back in this very thread, but someone posted confirmation that there would only be one f/f LI and one m/m LI.  If you search the back pages, you could probably find it, but I'm turning in for the night now.

But I found the dev quote:

David Gaider: "I'm certain that, whoever it is, there will be at least twenty people who will immediately fly to the internet to tell us how ugly and/or inappropriate he is as a m/m romance."

See the bolded.  The wording seems like a strong indication that there will only be one m/m party member in DA:2.

Keep dreaming, the only m/m romance is going to be either a possesed walking corpse with a penchant for cannibalism or someone who looks so childlike it just feels wrong to even think of him in romantic terms.

Definitely agree, especially since Isabela was pretty much a given from the get-go.

Someone in the romance confirmation thread suggested that the developers may be holding back who the m/m romance is so that players will give them a chance (instead of labeling them as 'the gay one' and killing them right off the bat.)

Do people actually do that? That is by far one of the most pathetic things I've ever heard.

Has everyone seen it? Gaider just confirmed he didn't confirm anything! It's practically a confirmation at this point. Not sure of what, though.

Noo don't cry! *Hugs and comforts*....I think D.G meant that he didn't confirm that there'd only be 1 f/f and 1 m/m LI...not that there'd be bi LIs right?

To be honest, I have no problem with Fenris or Anders as options. I would prefer Fenris, but pretty happy with either.



Maybe D.G. is alluding to the possibility of Seb being a bi option, maybe he isn't. I'm kind of happy to wait a couple of weeks and just find out for myself.



What I'm pleased to see is that a) there is at least one m/m option and the two romanceable male characters are both interesting non-stereotypical characters to choose from.



I choose to be optimistic in that D.G. may be alluding to more than one option in party for s/s romance. Or there might not be... Won't know until March.

It might be that neither Fenris nor Anders is a bisexual love interest and there's an NPC for the m/m romance. While it might not be a companion, there's a better chance of an M/M only LI that way.

Ah. As long as it gets as much attention as the companion LIs I'm good. 

And my hope for a Templar LI has been rekindled. <3 *wonders how long it is till someone dumps a waterbucket on it*

I dunno, not having the possiblity to adventure with you LI doesn't sound too appealing to me.
But I really don't know enough about how it'd work to draw conclusions.

Some people did that with Zevran, at least from what I have read.
