If the m/m option doesn't get spoiled then I'm going to bug one of you to tell me who it is before I start. I need to know if I should have that awkward conversation with my Hawke or not...

Since my first play will be my female Hawke, I won't be able to answer sorry. But as my second play will be with my male Hawke, I'll be eagerly waiting too. ^^

Though if the m/m option ends up being a jerk I'll romance Izzy.

*winces* Ouch. That sucks. Well hopefully in May all the bugs will be ironed out (or most of them) so you don'thave to deal with your character randomly floating or missing loot.

Yeah, 11th in UK.......... But if I am a very lucky girl it *might* arrive a day earlier.... I pre-ordered from Gamestation because they guarantee delivery by release date and occasionally it arrives on the Thursday instead........... *hopeful face*
Sorry, lost my thought train there............ Anyway, if Hawke gets Fenris or Anders I will be tempted to play male Hawke (don't normally play male if I can play female)

Yeah, I think it has more to do with shipping and standard distribution release. In general games get a Friday release here - and I believe the idea behind that is that it ensures that everyone in this region has the games in store at the same time before releasing to the public. That's how I understand it, anyway.

I'm not worried, as long as I get the game, it's all good.

Yeah. Although I will avoid these Forums and be all jealous, I'm glad I don't have to wait months and months. Though, for some reason, the shop I get my games from seem to ship collector and regular editions separately and with Origins the collector's edition was late so the release was pushed back a few more days. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen again.

EDIT: Fury has a point... Um, I really hope Fenris is the bi LI? If it's Anders then I guess that's cool too.

If you live in a country that will get DA2 "late," will you want to know who the bisexual male party member is, or will you be avoiding all spoilers after March 8th? Or are you intent on avoiding spoilers, with the sole exception of the bisexual romance?

Or do you share my belief: "Spoilers are delicious and should be eaten with a spoon"?

Yes and no. I don't mind being spoiled for certain things, but huge spoilers are a no no. I will, however, find out who the bi LI is as soon as possible. I need to know.

Reading through this thread, most people seem to be going along the lines of "Now that Anders is homicidal and drinking blood, I'm not so sure about that guy..." But for me, I'm thinking: WOW! I hope I can have a really evil, manly, and violent gay romance with this man! Hahaha. Though I like Fenris a lot too. I'm beyond pleased with the male romance options due to sufficient levels of dark/bloody/your-life-sucks. I did like many of the romance options from DA:O, but I was sad that none of them were truly dark romances. So, I'm excited no matter who it is! But I still really want to know so that I can get on figuring what kind of Hawke I want to play. I'm thinking male mage so far in the hopes that it's Anders!

Perhaps it's my paranoia still at work but I still intend to wait 3 days and verify decent romances before I even open my copy. At first it was just because I was going to refuse to play on principle if there was no m/m option.

Now it's a combination of:
All Maria's fault that I worry we'll get stuck with some useless Kelly Chambers-ish non-companion
+ Really really hoping Anders is the m/m LI but isn't as bat-poo crazy as that story made him out to be
+ (and I'm loathed to admit this ) hoping that my impression of Fenris is completely wrong if Anders is bat-poo crazy and/or if Fenris is the m/m LI.

So I personally not only welcome spoilers but will go hunting for them like a hungry wolverine...

Everyone is entitled to his or her own preferences when it comes to doing the dirty deed but for me I just absolutely have to drawn the line at casual cannibalism. As for the other romance prospect let's just say I don't know what's worse becoming a member of the Pedobear association or hooking up with a cannibal so officialy color me not interested in either of them in that way and in Anders possibly not at all.
Having party memberswith issues sure, having psychopathic cannibal lunatics who ought to be kept sedated and straightjacketed in a cell with padded windows in order to safeguard the rest of the population, as casual companions and Li's that's not so great imho.

I guess for my gay mHawke i just have to hope for a cute Npc like Dairren to give me some action or I'll have to make do with flirt lines with Varric or possibly some minor Npc's like Bella in DAO. Else it's gonna be heroic, celibate, stoicism for my gay mage.
