Well, if Sebastian was some sort of "extra" love-interest, he wouldn't be mentioned with the other four, because he doesn't come with the base game. Everyone can choose to romance Isabela, Anders, Merrill and Fenris, but you have to pay more for Sebastian. They wouldn't include him with the announcement of the "default" choices--though I'm not entirely sure that "default" is the right word. Anyway...

Granted, if Sebastian was romance-able, there would probably be a seperate announcement, because any fangirl who didn't already have him would immediately purchase him. A prince with that accent? YES PLEASE.

Right now, a lot of fans are hoping that Bioware wants to pleasantly surprise us with Sebastian-romance. And within that group of misty-eyed dreamers is a subset of fans who hope that if Sebastian is a love-interest, he will be bisexual. Most people who're still clinging that that hope will admit that it's a slim chance, but what's the harm in keeping our fingers crossed? A velvet-voiced bisexual prince? I'll hope for that until the very end!

Of course, I'll be horribly disappointed if Sebastian is the only bisexual male, because the implications there are kind of skewed..... but then I'll dive right into his romance with my manHawke. Make of that what you will.

Just take it with a grain of salt, okay buddy? Surprises are nice, but the thing with surprises is that you don't know if it will happen or not. Kind of a glass half empty and half full thing. You wish for all the water, and then there is no water, and then your game experience is ruined. Talking from experience here. Lol. <3

OH, BUT WAIT, DRAGON AGE HAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT TEAM!


Same-sex male romances have been confirmed for DA2. We don't know who it is yet, but that was the case with Zevran, too. His sexuality wasn't announced pre-release, it was leaked. Yes, Mass Effect has burned us, but I'm not worried about the male same-sex romance in Dragon Age. It'll all work out!

That's what I said. Everyone who's still hoping for Sebastian-romance (and especially those who're hoping for bisexual Sebastian) know that it's a fool's hope. I haven't seen a signle person who's said "MY DA2 EXPERIENCE WILL BE RUINED IF I DON'T GET TO ROMANCE SEBASTIAN!" Mostly we're just tossing around the idea of how nice it would be if it happened.

I think a rendition of "Some Day My Prince Will Come" is in order here. ManShep, will you like to start us off?

I have to agree with Ryzaki that there might not be a m/m option.  I mean if Fenris isn't, and Sebastion isn't that only leaves Anders...and I don't believe he would be an option.  Looks like long, cold and lonely nights at the camp fire. 

I'm pretty sure David Gaider confirmed m/m in this very thread.

I'll believe that when I see it.  

As for now I'll be on the lookout for the male Kelly. 

And hope he's not as annoying as the actual Kelly. <_<

That would be really sad. Just... awkward implications all around, if you had to pay extra for m/m content, but f/f content came free..... Ouch. I would...... seriously take a step back and examine some things.

BUT, I don't think that'll happen. If Sebastian is a bisexual love-interest, he'll be the second bisexual male, not the first.
