Hello everyone! This thing came up in my mind when I saw, in the configuration tool, the chace to change the text and voice languages, but actually they're greyed out.. that's becouse there are only 1 of each installed right now...

My issue comes with the Italian translations of texts.. yes it's good.. but it's not remarkable as the original english language, and I would like to switch to English, with the chance of getting back to Italian in case my brother or nephew would like to try out the game.

Is there any way to install and have coexistent Italian and English text languages for the game?

What's stopping you from reinstalling the game? It'd take 30 minutes at most and your saves and configs will be kept.

I wrote it before.. when I play it I want everything in english, if I step back and my brother or nephew will play it, should I let them wait 30-45 mins to uninstall the game and installing it again?

what's the point of doing that when we already have the option to have multiple (selectable) languages installed?

I just want to figure out how to do it.

I've figured it out myself..

Open Dragon Age: Origins' DVD, open the "data" folder and look for the rars for the language you need, for example:

"English" will need theese files:

campaign_tt_english.rar

english.rar

(those 2 following files are for languages which include voice overs, in case you wish to be able to select a different voice over in the game)

audio_english.rar

campaign_vo_english.rar

Extract each of them in your Dragon Age: Origins folder and voilà!

Just open DA:O configuration utility and select the language you wish for Audio and Text!

I hope this will be useful for everyone who wants, like me, to have multiple languages installed.
