I want to replay the game to get my canon Shepard ready for ME3 as I wasn't completely satisfied with some of the decisions that I made and with the characters that died during my first playthrough. However my ME1 save that I used to start my first playthrough, I'm satisfied with and I don't want to go through ME1 again. AND this time around, I wanna play through it in Insanity so I'd rather use my ME2 end game save file so I can keep the weapons and the Advanced Sniper Rifle training that I recieved on the Collector ship.

So my questions are,

1) If I use the ME2 import, will the decisions/flags from the first game (which were originally determined by my ME1 end game save when I did my first playthrough) be the same as my first playthrough?

2) Does anyone know if I can then import the end game save from the second playhtough into ME3 (ie. does it create ANOTHER end game save at the end of a New Game+) ?

3) Do the weapon, armor, shield etc. upgrades get carried over along with the weapons?
