We've never outright stated it, but we seem to have a rule that you can offer to do thing, but you can not threaten to withhold things.  Takes the fun out of it. 
This may come down to who has it installed on their machine first.  His machine's faster, but I stay home with the kids, so as soon as it's in my hands I can begin my install.  What makes this so interesting is the timeing.  If it releases in October, we'll just trade off nights for bath and bedtimes, and both play after the kids are asleep. Weekends would be traded off. Once into November we both work weekends (theater work) so the only times are weeknights.
Hmmm......maybe stockings and cake....:innocent:

I will book 2 days off of work (unless it's released on a Friday), install the game and I won't stop playing until it has been completed. Then I'll sleep for 12-15 hours to recover.

hmmm a marathon play through of all games seems tempting....but between me1 and me2 i racked 67 hours.....that a long marathon then with me3 on top of that, that prob hazardous to the health to be on for that long.

Pretty much what many people did for Mass Effect 2.

• Install it.
• Play it.
• Complain about it on the forums.

The last step should take about six months, or more. I'll need to be sure that everyone knows my opinion. I mean, imagine I let it go after a few weeks! People wouldn't know how bad I thought it was.

Seriously though, steps 1 and 2 and then start another playthrough.

look at the box and not open it, rather prefering to assume that they got everything right after some of the ..."hiccups"... of ME2 and save myself the need of ever coming back to the forums.

Anyway, when the game comes out, it will probably be near Christmas Break. So what I'll do is play through ME1 and 2 again (ME1 will be a replay as my ME1 canon shep, then I'll probably import that into ME2 and play through it again, therefore creating another canon) and then play through ME3, most likely nonstop.

I took a week off work to play ME 2 as many times as possible.... I'll take time off work for ME 3 and I will need a prescription of sleeping pills because I won't sleep EVER! otherwise.

I'll have to find time to replay ME1 and ME2 first so I can beat ME2 the day of or the day before ME3 comes out, so I can grasp the entire story. It'll be hard to do though because I'm in college and I'll only be playing a couple of hours a day, instead of the 6 to 8 hours a day I playe during the Christmas holidays.



I'll be getting the game from Steam though, so it'll take a while to download.
